RE: Remove The Lancers Stopping Power = GoW3 Perfection

Just signed back into the forum to check the feedback on the previous thread I made of the same name and its been removed ...... why would epic remove a thread that's had around 2000 views and 100's of comments in about 3 days, its obviously a topic that a lot of people have opinions on and that's what I thought forums where for?

Im glad it was shut down. People were fighting way to much and it was just a mess, and it was making the competitive community look horrible.

I know it might be frustrating, but just drop the issue. Out of the like 20 pages on that thread, I only read like 4 posts that were actually respectful and to the point. Everything else was either "OMG GNASHER ***S RUIN THE GAME" or "OMG U JUST WANT TO CAMP WITH LANCER"

at one point there were even two idiots who had a page long argument on who was older. Thats how bad it was.



Honestly I'm with you on the idea of taking stopping power off of the lancer, but we just have to wait and see. Im sure EPIC will test the idea. Although the best and easiest solution would be to just make it a damn custom option. Let the competitive leagues decide for themselves what is better, and EPIC wont have to deal with the casual players trying to conform to competitive settings.

Oryt i had no idea there where idiots like that on there lol i can see them getting pissed off with people arguing over dumb **** on a thread but at the end of the day the majority of the feeback from what i saw was most people want the stopping power taken out or nurfed so i hope they look past the idiots to the die hard fans that actually care enough to bother voicing there opinions, time will tell i guess.

i just would want epic to remember that this is the competitive forum and, although the competitive community is important, if you make changes to the SP on the lancer, alot of your recreational community isnt going to like it. they should make a happy medium somehow

Because people were insulting one another in it. Why dont you guys grasp that concept. People need to stop w the insults or threads get deleted, period. It has nothing to do w "opinions". You curse, you but, you flame, done.

Not true. If people report a few posts they read the posts in question and if it warrants a delete that's it. Mods rarely have time yo read through threads. Odds are they didn't read it, just the questionable stuff.

lets be honest. Stopping power is fine with weak rifles. Same as powerful rifles are fine with no stopping power. NOT powerful rifles AND high stopping power

The rifles are too strong right now. Removing stopping power would be fine, the lancer is already incredibly strong with its huge magazine and ridiculous active reload and headshot bonus.

I don't really understand what the fuss is about. I guess it's just me but, I feel like the game right now is pretty solid. Wether stopping power should be taken out... I have to say no, now on the other hand maybe nerfing the lancers dmg just alittle bit.. Then I could go for that. I just think if your going to run straight at me with a gnasher out... Well then you deserve to die....
