Hey guys,
im making this thread to tell you that i have implemented a feature on gowportal.com that will allow members to search for gears of war 3 players who are in your time zone, and who play the game at the same time as you do..
this feature is in early stages at the moment but is working as expected.
I think there are currently around 20 people who have contributed by updating their profiles, but new members will have to fill this information by default to help others connect with them.
The whole aim of this is to enable people to play in teams more often. Because i know a lot of people who work shift hours and like to play gears but they are typically not online at the same time as others. Also a lot of people who played Gears 1 to Gears 3 now have full time jobs so it is difficult for them to play with teams, which makes the whole experience of Gears different and much harder, especially when you come up against stacked teams!
I hope you guys can contribute to this by adding your name to the member list. And i hope when you do the search you get some results you are hoping for!
