spot a steal?

Soo...I'm just a bit confizzeld here. I play quick match sometimes when I'm by myself and that means I have 4 other people on my team that I don't know. So since we don't know each other,that means that every down someone sees will be taken 99% of the time rather if its there's or not. Me,myself,I don't have a problem with losing 10 kills because I get up to 60 kills a game in quick match Koth. What I'm confused about is how hard people try to steal my down.

Let me let some of you in on a little secret that most of you may not have known. Not only do I get points for downing him but I also get points for spotting him. Now you may think to yourself "what's the point? I still got the kill". Well ill tell you. Each spot is 30 points where each stolen kill is 10 points. For each stolen kill you get 10 points while I'm getting 30 plus the damage I've done on the down.

I'm just a bit confused on why people even bother with taking kills,is k.d really that important? Why steal when you can spot and get 3x the amount of a stolen down. Make since doesn't it? Anyone agree ?

Because people are stupid and don't understand how spotting works. If everyone used it properly then it would be much harder for the enemy to sneak up on or ambush you.

I spot everything I see that isn't already spotted. Its a reflex now. And whilst I can somewhat forgive not spotting in Versus due to its pace, it is a sin to not spot in Horde. It is literally free money and helps the team.

Had a player on my team earlier that kept stealing our kills in Quick Match Warzone, he stoles a total of 12 kills, and the best part is, he was at the very bottom of the list of the team, I had 4 total kills, and I was above him by a total of 400 points. I should have had 6 but he stole two of mine as well as the rest of my partied team mates.

Next match, he was placed on the opposite team, he only ended up with two kills (stolen from bots) with 10 deaths. So basically the previous match of stealing our kills, didn't help him one bit. lol

I know what you're saying. If I need help and the enemy can still shoot my teammates don't do ANYTHING!
The moment he hits the ground it is a free-for-all just for my kill. EPIC should change this.
Make it where if you down an enemy anyone who kills him gets +10, while it still credits you the kill.

Problem solved. I am pretty sure I would have all the onyx medals for all the 5 weapons, but kill stealing. :mad:
