Hey guys, it's The BaLLiN here! Some of you may know me from my countless posts on these boards, but if you don't here is a little introduction. I go by the gaming alias of BaLLiN, and I've been playing the Gears of War series competitively, on and off, since the Summer of 2007. I guess you can say I'm a pretty known figure in the Gears of War community, yea I have 428 followers on twitter, nbd. In all seriousness though, I'm probably most known for my posts on forums, but that does not mean I am not good at the game. I may not have much to show for it, but I think I'm pretty good and I know what it takes to win. I'm also pretty known for the little movement I started to make GoW3 the best game possible. I spent countless hours making threads focusing on aspects of the game that could make or break GoW3, most notably stopping power and the L-trig damage boost. I was probably the single most annoying poster you could come by if your views differed from mine. I was a little hostile at times, but as they say with age comes maturity. I've kind of been out of the loop with everything GoW3 seeing as how college kills any free time I have to seriously commit to a team, so I would like to help new players looking to get into competitive gaming.

I plan on helping new players through GameBattles. It is where I got my start and its where many others have too. I will be making a GB team and inviting anyone interested in getting into competitive gaming. The team will start small and I'll see where we will go from there (probably only 5 players at first). So first come first served. I will help you learn the basics of competitive Gears of War and hopefully help mold you into a great player. I have no plans on competing in the near future so this will go on for a while. Maybe even players from the GB team can go on and team with each other for major events. Remember, the most important thing here is having fun. I'm looking for some outgoing people who enjoy a good laugh and are eager to learn.

If you are interested you can contact me through a private message or on twitter @BaLLiNx (https://twitter.com/#!/BaLLiNx)

Cool! I remember the good ol' discussion days of Gears. I'm pretty known to, got a mention in the credits for G3, Kappa. But in all seriousness if you are completely new start at Skyllus' Gears of War lessons series. I also advise people who go on GB to NOT expect everyone to be nice when you play just like the real world. Alpha is a decent start to conditioning your shotgun game as well.

Best of luck. I'm here to help too, but am not active as I used to be.
