Just the local scenes near where I live, and it was all fighting games like Smash and DOA. I haven't participated in any team events, whether that be LAN or online, since hardly any of my friends have any fleeting interest in competitive play.

I've been on a couple GB teams, but we only played a few matches so I don't have that much competitive experience. I left the last team I was on, because I felt like the other guys didn't understand how to play in a competitive setting. They tried to play the way they played in ranked and it just wasn't working. I tried to get them to slow down and play smarter, but it just wasn't happening. I'd be interested in joining another team and I'm more than willing to take direction from an experienced player.
