View Full Version : Video Falling Water by Frank Lloyd Wright
Hey people!
I thought it was a good time to show you guys my current project. It's the creation of the famous villa by Frank Lloyd Wright. I started in april 2011 and it's still under construction ;). Hell, back in the days they worked 3 years to complete the building!
Enjoy!

very cool :)
I like the lighting everything looks real.
Nice materials too, very nice to look at. I like the 'soft' feel of the light/textures (dont know if thats even right way to describe it but I like it)

Excellent foliage and nice feel overall. It makes me want to see more of the interior. You worked on it for 8 months so far?
@taz1004: Thanks! you're right, 8 months allready. I've been working for about a few hours a week since I'm in my intership atm.
Luckily I'm really starting to get the hang of zBrush wich speeds up 'prop creation' very much :). the next months I'll be working on the interior. I'm planning to keep creating until my videocard can't handle it.
@neurosys: thanks! even though I believe it's a consequence of my very badly calibrated monitor. Everywhere it seems very soft and fluffy except for the monitor I work on!
edit: ow and also Youtube 'fluffy's-out' you colors!
ow btw, I made the music aswell, it was my previous hobby :D

I've been there and I'm almost positive that you could show that vid without sound and convince someone you were there on a nice summer day. You captured not just the look of it but the "feel" too...

Your trees and plants look so good :(
@Mike B: thanks man! Thats a great compliment!
@miatribe: I'm sorry :) but hey, it's just speedtree. ow, and some of the trees give dynamic shadows others only static (performance reasons ;))

Fantastic! Lots of great little details and like has been said above, it really captures the feel of the building.

It's wonderful animation. The music sounds great!
@ Tom Shannon and Frontop: Thanks!
BTW I recently had a crash with UDK being unable to read the 2nd package (I made that to split up the file to tackle the 300MB limit). So I had to reïmport most of the props and fix the shaders again. So I'm a bit behind my own (mental) planning ;).
Anyway did anyone else ever had this problem? And how did you fix it?
