Well its just really annoying, for two days last week the Comet KOTH was wrecking my MP, i only play KOTH really, and now stupid hats blocking half the screen and making gears of war look like a ps2 balloon party. Its annoying if you'v booked time off work and planned to spend the day lazing playing gears! anyway on a brighter note, RAMM Doesn't wear the stupid hat, so i'm ok playing locust, does anyone know if any of the Cogs do not wear one? I'm trying all the Zeta ones out..

well it isn't fun for me. It blocks my view of many things and makes it hard to tell the difference between friend and foe. Instead of being forced to use it in all playlists, it should only exist in a special holiday one. and sure I could just not play Gears, but what the hell kind of message would Epic be sending then? No company should want to try to annoy people to the point that they don't want to play.

But obviously some people are just to grumpy and butt hurt to understand how to have fun :)
For UK people, it'll be edited (I think) between 2 - 4, which is 9am for where Epic Studios are.

I'll help you understand the difference between friend and foe. If someone is shooting at you, and you're taking damage, that is a foe.

Simple minds are entertained by anything I guess. Normal Gears is fun. Holiday game modes that are optional to play are fun. Weapon skins for the holidays are fun. Forced giant heads are not fun.

Why don't I force you to dress up from now until Christmas. A costume where you can barely see anything. Wear it EVERYWHERE you go and you can't take it off until sometime after Christmas. Call it fun now, but you'll be hating it in a few hours

They're a tiny bit annoying to me as well. I liked them at first but now I feel like it's getting boring.

I don't care that it's festive, why is it forced on everyone? Why is there no toggle on/off option for this, so that the people who don't like it can have it off and the ones that do can leave it on.

And to the people who cant tell if its a foe or friendly,the heads are highlighted blue and red. Blue for COG and Red for Locust. Its not a game changer like comet in KOTH ts just a head and it doesn't take up half the screen stop exaggerating Just enjoy the cool things EPIC is doing for us

Don't be silly now young Skaarj. A snowman head doesn't make the game unplayable. Swapping your Gnasher for a candy cane.... that would make it unplayable.
