Since I'm addicted to IB2, I thought I would give you all my reasons for using dual.

1. It is focused on parrying and dodging. I barely used the shield in IB1.
2. It eliminates the need to upgrade your shield stats
3. It just looks awesome. Yeah I use 2 swords, what now?
4. Did I mention it looks awesome?

I just have one question: how is dual more parry-oriented than heavy or light?

And I'm sorry to hear about your addiction... I've heard about people getting addicted to this game.

It's more parry-oriented because in light you can dodge and block as well, while in heavy, you are really slow and it is much harder to parry. Also, it is hard to dodge everything in dual so you end up having to use parry a lot, while in light and heavy you can either dodge or block everything

Completely :)

I said it was more dodging AND parrying oriented than either of the two others. not just parrying

while in heavy, you are really slow and it is much harder to parry.
Does anyone else experience that? So far for me parrying doesn't seem harder in any class.

Well I've only used heavy but once or twice....

Well maybe it's just my bias against heavy, but I definitely feel that it is harder to move and swing your weapon in heavy, more than any other class. Just like dodging in light is slower than in dual.

Just like dodging in light is slower than in dual.
Now that observation/perception really surprises me. I know in light you get few duals but I never thought you actually move slower hmm.

It seems that way, it is highly likely I'm wrong though, so don't take my word for it.

it feels that i dodge quicker with duals...unsure how we would really test this, though..

+1 for digging the duals...

heavy's suck...

Dual is skills oriented. You've got nothing to hide behind, nowhere to run away... Just fight.

You can win the fight without loosing health. This is the most important I guess, because this is the best solution for so called "survival task". Sooner or later you'll have to face this task, and not only in "Survival mode" or passing Shade lvl 150 with the base stats...

This is the skills window to the infinity
