Okey this story is like in gears sergeants log style in the battlefield...and it is my first fanfic so i hope ya like it...
5th day. Still holding the frontline.
Sergeant Hudsons log.
It has been 3 days since my men or I have had some sleep. We still hold the line, althou in my heart im afraid we will not make it alive from here. Were still waiting for reinforcments,but i now doubt its worth to wait for them.
The locust are comeing in waves like I have never have seen,were getting low on supplies if they continue attacking like this. To my suprise the moral stance of our men is extremly high.I dont know if it comes from the will to stay alive or from the urge to revenge back for the ones that were lost. I want it to be back as it was once,but i think its worthless to dream of it anymore...I still have 512 men, 62 of them are wounded. And we have survived civilians with us, wich makes all worser than it is...
7th day. Have they forgotten us?
No Locust seen for 1 day wich is relief for us.I fear theyr gathering forces to finish us for good.I bet we will see them today.But i try to look at the bright side for once, half of my men could rest and relax. Were still trying to get contact with the HQ, but without succsess.Why wont they answer us,i just dont get it.
We saw 2 locust drones scouting today It seems this ground is too tight for Locust to breach out benief us, so at least one good thing for once.Im totaly exhausted, and so are those who were at the watch today.
10th day. I fear now the worst..
I lost many men yesterday.I still hear the guns fireing, men screaming and blood, i never thought we could held back the attack.It was clouded day,no sun. They came on to us with at least 350 drones and a creature we call Brumak. We consentrated our fire on the brumak, only a small amount of men were shooting the drones. The brumak crushed our primary defence guns and was going to get us all, but Privet Johnson, threw a grenade into the beast mouth when it was roaring and it fell to the ground,...He saved us with his life and gave a new hope to my men,but he was now on the open plain and the Locust Drones shot him in the legs, ran to him and cut him into pieces, horrifing death to a noble gear soldier...We struggeled back against the locust.They werent shooting us at all,they attacked us melee way,we fought back with everything we had,cutting them with our chainsaws, and knives to throwing them with debris. The sight after the battle was horrible and in the eyes of my soldiers i saw...fear.
As for today i think we made it again...
