so yesturday i dowloaded Ramms shadow and actually found the time to "create" my own x-box live account under my profile "BOWER". i was using a diffrent profile that was already signed up with live (silver) to download all DLC for the system, then just play it on my profile solo. so i created my live account... it asked me to enter my new x-box live I.D. and my e-mail address. BOTH are mikeycarmine4, mikeycarmine4@yahoo.com. all was smooth. it asked me if i wanted to upgrade from silver to gold. i choose upgrade later. than a message poped up saying i had a 1 month free trial of gold. WOW i was happy. so i clicked "yes". than a BIG error message poped up. "not able to receave from x-box live at this time, try again later." so i was like "ok, whatever" than the SH*T hit the fan when i returned to my profile home screen. MY WHOLE PROFILE was the same (acheavments, avitar, games played) but my name was changed to "VeNtIcAl GnU" i was like, WTF?! my profile name was totaly diffrent! and ALL (not just gears3) i repeate ALL of my save data was GONE :mad:... so i think "live" thought i was trying to recover a gamertag... but all MY (acheavments, avitar, games played) were under this new name! WHAT HAPPENED?! i dont understand. and iv'e been a total SLAVE to this game. hundreds of hours grinding for mutators since midnight Sept.20th... specifically big head. just unlocked it yesturday morning. didnt even get a chance to use it!!!!!! im SO depresed now. my whole life went from being a loser hard drug user. to watching my new daughter grow and playing gears of war 3 and being clean. i was actually proud of myself for my 9 ONYX medals. Thanks Microsoft. (severe sarcasum) if ANYBODY has any idiea what happened PLEASE reply! let me know im not alone... i need you guys now, more than ever. from one deep love gamer to another...
