I honestly don't see much Bag 'N Tagging going on in MP. I just want to know from the community, do YOU find it useful? I personally only use this method on a downed victim to make him rage and maybe rage-quit. :D

I use it a lot, actually. It helps me get away if I have a meatshield and I'm in the doo-doo. Really if I have a frag grenade because people don't really expect it. But, I think it'll be more appealing if the animation could be cut short just a little bit; every second counts when trying to get away.

Honestly, I forgot it even existed.

In the heat of battle it can be easy to forget you can even do that (for me at least) do it, but I find it hard to find a situation in which it is actually usefull. But better that we have it than not.

I do use it...but I rarely ever take a meat-shield. When I do though, I always bag 'n' tag :)

I never take anyone as a meatshield, so I don't think I'd ever Bag 'n Tag. Although, I would like to get some unsuspecting people with a frag...

So much faster to just drop the body and toss a grenade... that's prob why most don't use it if they are carrying nades

I love the bag and tag feature. It's saved me so many times.

if you could move while you did it i'd probably use it more often.

I only use Bag n Tag in Horde, when I have something other than a smoke grenade to use. In MP, people dive out of the way before the meatshield gets anywhere near them so I find it useless and a waste of a grenade

I always use it. I prefer to pick up a meat shield to execute since both a curb stomp and execute leaves you vulnerable to enemy fire. I find it much quicker to pick someone up and then figure if I want to snap their neck or use em as a bag and tag.
I really wish Epic would fix it though so when you do get rid of your meat shield you auto equipped your ar.

There is a ribbon for killing any player with a bag´n tag frag.

buddy of mine was telling me tht he was able to use his meat shield's grenade (he had no smoke the guy he picked up had frags) used bag and tag and he kicked him off with a frag on him. not sure if it was a clitch or if thats another way of using it

That's actually how it's done.
When you pick up a meatshield, any grenade you have can be used as the tag. If you don't have any grenades, then any grenades the meatshield was holding automatically go into your inventory for use.

I like to think it's usefull in certain situations, but really those times come rarely.

It would be a lot more useful if the animation was faster.

I use it almost exclusively when multiple enemies are rushing the objective in a KotH match. It can be a real life-saver if you're defending the hill by yourself

It's not particularly useful if you're in crossfire with a meatshield. By the time you're done with the animation, you're down or dead. If you can kick the body and immediately roll, It would have been much more useful.

I only use it to humiliate someone I've beat in a sudden death.

the animation should automatically roll your character backwards after you kick it away (who wants to be close to a body about to explode anyway?) It makes sense to me.

Doing a Bag 'n Tag on the Thrashball stairs is so satisfying when you see the enemy fly down the steps and explode into smoke

I never have a smoke on hand to do this, as I have already planted it, or used it as cover. If I had the opportunity to do it, for sure. Most people I think do not know how to do it, and if they see this post, (as long as you possess a grenade) when you have someone as your meat shield, simply press "up" on the D-Pad and you will perform the bag tag technique. Very useful when used properly

I got a quinn with the bag n' tag the other day playing KOTH on Hotel. First time I ever killed someone with it.

The problem with it, is that whenever I have nades I am never in the situation to pick up a meatshield and whenever I have a meatshield I never have nades.

I think the problem is the lack of nades, when ppl pick them up they tend to plant them or throw them at the first enemies they encounter. For bag and tag you would be picking up the nades, switch to another weapon, down the enemy, take as metashield, encounter enemies at a fair distance and only after all that, it's time to use it.
I would like to use it more, but it requires many previous steps so it will be rare. After getting nades, ppl will want to throw them immediately before attempting to fight normally, nobdy wants to die while having nades in the inventory. Nades that could have prevented your death or at least took your enemy with you.

I would use it in CTL when as a leader I capture the enemy leader and I have to escape from some enemies, but I can't do that :/

It's really useful on maps like Blood Drive or Mercy where people camp in rooms that have corners and doorways. All you have to do is down the idiot/bait the left outside before he has a chance to get into cover. Go pick him up sick one of those frags/incendiaries to his back and push him arround the corner. Then your teamates go flying in since in MP there is no friendly fire. And you just let them mess the guys up and wait for them to try and escape from the other side.

Almost every time I've tried it, I've been the one killed. The last time I ever tried it, I bag'n'tagged with a frag grenade and the model was pushed past the enemy until it was about a foot directly behind him, but blew me up and left the enemy unharmed...
If someone tries it, I'll take one stride to the left and gib them with the gnasher while they are still in their animation. I'm not a huge fan of either that or the mantle kick. I like the idea of the mantle kick, but it is just another buggy thing ha. If they started it in Gears 1 maybe it would be perfected by now but it is going to take some work presently if they ever even worry about it.
