Hi folks,
Now I spend some time on google and did a forum search so here it goes:
I bought myself a new laptop since my old one broke. I thought I spend extra money to get something that can run UDK.
Specs are:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64
Dx11
4Gig ram
Intel i5 2.3 Ghz
Nvidia GeForce GT540M
And it was just bought yesterday-
I first downloaded the Oktober release and Installed it along with the MS Framework 4. I can start SpeedTree, FrontEnd and the Launcher.
I canīt start the Editor itself. Everytime I klick on UDKLift or use the menue shortcut it loads something for half of a second and then nothing.
I tried to run and install it in different compatibility modes wich didnīt do anything.
I tried to start the UnSetup.exe and it says it canīt start because the UDK package is damaged. Win7 advised me to reinstall everything, wich I did with no effect.
I downloaded older versions= Same effect. Everything works but the editor itself and UnSetup
Any Idea what is causing the trouble? Iīd really appreciate it. :(
