You have done a terrific job of listening to your fans and polishing your game. I have not been able to play much at all lately, mainly because of school. But I played a lot over the weekend, and I LOVED it. The servers were all working for all of my games, I LOVE the Alpha playlist and the special events that have been put on. The weapons all seem very balanced now (although I would like to see the Lancer nerfed a tad), and I am overall very happy. Well done!

Totally true, Epic does listen to the community more than some people would admit and has done a great job so far. Things can only get better this way.

im not quite sure what to say about this as friday nite it was confirmed the servers had crashed and saturday they were recoverin? but takin that aside, it definetly has appeared better recently

I do like that Epic is paying more attention to the fans..hopefully they'll take to heart the idea I came up with that other people seem to share my enthusiasm for..a Fire Weapons event in December..a "Beat the Cold" event..Where you spawn with a Scorcher and a couple of Fire Grenades. Personally I agree with you OP, I hated Gears 2 with a passion. I was very skeptical about Gears 3 but after the beta I was sold. The only two problems with this game are the sawed-off and the OP Lancer but they can easily be beaten with a strategy. I'm sad that I can't gnasher whore anymore but after seeing how good this is online compared to the to prequels makes me happy I bought it.

Agreed and the fact that its got a solid campaign as well as the horde and beast modes make this well worth $60 even with its flaws.

Good on ya Epic it is a mean game, I always prefer playing Gears over any COD, BF3 etc
keep it up I am sure some tweeks will see some people come back to gears once they realise the FPS games out there are all the same crap.

I agree, since the beta they've buffed the hammy, nerfed the SOS, nerfed the retro, buffed the lancer, countered spawn trapping on a few maps, added a new playlist for the people who gave feedback on the forums, and still roll weekly events that are quite interesting.

There's just something about this game that has me coming back to it every time. I'll go a play Halo or CoD for a bit, but I always find myself right back on Gears. The adrenaline rushes I get from being the last man out, etc., just make it amazing. I think Gears takes the most skill to be good at out of all the video games.

I agree. For all the laggy matches and and rank reset I had on GOW 2, I still played all the time and lapped up all the DLC like a fat kid in a pie shop.

Maybe Gears fans are just gluttons for punishment?

Agreed 10 out of 10 for this game. Wish I could play it more but I have Skyrim sorry *shruggs shoulders* lol :D
