Will there be anymore MSUC contests or is it no longer being continued with the release of UDK?

Probably not.

However, some of the winners of the last MSUC are just about to start releasing their games (or already have, in The Ball's case.) Perhaps with their successes some people might be encouraged to call for another mod contest, MSUC or not.

It's a shame but I guess there won't be any. Now they have the UDK to go for a "talent-hunt" it seems (that's what the MSUC was to me: a "talent show"). Too bad because I had plans to participate in one but will probably never have a chance to. :(

Yup.. Well Intel and Activision both have similar contests with big prizes and there is the IGF and a few others but I was really looking forward to a chance at winning a full copy of UE3.. oh well *reaches for his cheque book*
