XP Reduction

I saw a post on another site about noticeable reduction in XP being awarded. Is this true?

Unfortenely, yes. This sucks, a lot fo people reach level 100 before this.

yeah i noticed this when i went 20 kills. 2 deaths. 7 downs and only got about 2700 xp. 25x xp weekend event anytime soon? =)

As usual, I think it's the right thing to do but why do it this way now 3 weeks after release? That means that someone picking up the game next week is at a massive disadvantage to someone who's been playing?

I mean, this game had a beta and they still couldn't figure out how to extrapolate the XP for a 2-3 year time frame (average player)?? Comon...........

whats bad about the reduction is you cant go other 3000xp and that they would change the xp but not the sawed off is just epics way of saying "f*** you and play the game"

they should of made the level cap 150 or 200

Well at least when I earn level 100 the level would feel better by earning it.
I just don't see the point now after there are tons of level 100's out there currently.

Plus I hate KOTH grinding in Gears 3 because of the DBS every where you turn in that game mode.
Guess it'll take a while to earn it but meh. Gives me something to work at besides Seriously 3.0.

If you think about it; by the time I earn level 100 I might have some onyx medals done so Seriously 3.0 will seem easier.
