About Battle Mistress medal

To get straight to the point I don't like it because it "forces" you to use characters that you wouldn't normally use.
This can been seen in many matches when there is 3 Myrrahs on one side and 5 Sams on other so there comes lack
of individual feeling. And yes I also use at the moment female characters but only to get this medal and move on
eventhought I don't like it.

What is your opinion about this medal?

I'm not bothered by it....yet when they release Tai then I will be cause that is who i'm going to main on the COG.

i dont get you would be bothered by this, but then again ive come to notice that most players when in groups seem to not want to play as the same character as others and or to be the same character that a random person is using...
personally for me its not an issue

I wish there was an option other than just Myrrah for Locusts, I'm getting tired of that.
At least as a COG you can break the monotony.

Even a different Color scheme would help. It does get weird having 5 identical Myrrah's running around.

Removing it wouldn't stop Myrrah spam, but currently there is LEAST 2 Myrrahs in every match so it would help a little...

Yep. We've noticed there are females in the game now epic. Don't need to give them an xp advantage and force people to do it if they want to get seriously 3.0

Easy. Got it in a few days. This is really nothing to complain about. Vengeful is what you should be complaining about.

Easy to boost, just set it to private warzone, leave the game on overnight and you have it. I was annoyed about having to use Sam, Anya or Myrah too, but after that I can go back to Superstar Cole.

I think they have done good to add the medal they got so much stick for not adding females in so now they have they make you use them kudos to them for that.

I like this medal as I can earn a title which is more appropriate to my sex! :D
I had Hardcore Soldier as my title but changed it to Amazonian yesterday when I unlocked it... but I actually prefer to play as either Clay or Ben Carmine.
I play as either Sam or Myrrah 'cos I don't really like Anya's character, she seems too *clean* ~ I don;t know how to describe it but hope you get what I mean :)

Dude, it's offline against bots. You're not causing harm to anyone. I don't think they'll ban for that.

Seriously, I don't think they will really ban people for 'boosting' on private matches. Why would they? They don't harm the online crowd and technically they are using the game in a way that is technically allowed, not restricted by the EULA or whatsoever and they are not even using a glitch.

Regarding the 'babes'-medal - it's just a medal. To get mutator xyz you also need to have x kills of weapons abc and you're not annoyed by people using the same weapon over and over again just to get there. That's the whole 'sad' thing with the medals (and the linked mutators and/or achievements), they actually force you to play in a specific way. Sure, you can disregard them completely, but at least for the mutators, which actually alter gameplay, you need to follow those 'directions'. Beyond this it's also some kind of force to 'now try this, now do this, what do you dig?', but in the end one continues to follow a guided path. Nontheless, for visual variation purposes it would have been nice if there were 'more' female characters to be unlocked early ...

Don't like it. They don't have a "Mister Battle Man" medal for using male characters, now do they? I'm using females until I get the medal onyx'd then I'm going back to whatever I want to use.. prior to when I started the grind for medals, I was using Adam Fenix/Sniper. Have no desire to use female characters in the game otherwise, except maybe Bernie, but I'm really unsure of that even now.

I don't think this is true. You could disconnect your LIVE and do it offline and no one would even know. People who get banned or punished from boosting are either ruining the game experience for others or exploiting a game mode or event- I think they used to do this when people boosted during XP weekends on Halo 3 or something. Grinding in private matches isn't affecting anyone and it's not cheating, it's 100% intentional, otherwise private games played wouldn't count towards medals.

You know I'm also pretty sure this can't happen. How can a company ban you for playing a game privately on your on xbox all by yourself? You are not causing harm or cheating the system in any way shape or form. The game can be played (and boosted) in private matches with all kills and such counting towards an impossible to achieve achievement unless you were doing so.

If you must boost though, I recommend taking your XBOX offline while you sleep / work / etc and doing it then. The stats are stored locally anyways, and in the Microsoft cloud, nothing to do with Epic. Epic couldnt check these servers even if they wanted to without going through a whole bunch of Microsoft red tape. I'm pretty sure, nay I'm 100% sure Microsoft would never grant Epic permission to go through anyones stats or private match information that are not sent to the Epic servers themselves because it would be a breach of our privacy and security, something we signed up for when we paid for the LIVE subscription.

That being said, the real question is how much of the information is sent to Epic with the games we play? The only way they could ever ban you for doing this is if you had complaints with your attached gamertag sent to epic with proof you have been doing it. There are millions of people playing this game, they cannot possibly have the time to scan through each of our gamertags to find out who is boosting privately to earn the achievement and who isnt.

Lastly, even if they did ban you.... would you care? I personally wouldn't care because the only way Epic could punish you is by resetting your rank and progress.... which in the end I don't think they can do, I mean I know there are tons of people who reset accidentally, but I haven't seen a case yet (if someone has please tell me) of epic doing it themselves. I don't plan on boosting this game, I don't plan on earning Seriously 3.0 (I have seriously 2.0 though :p). I'm also pretty sure if they did ban you from joining public games, you wouldn't give two rats ****s because you are already only playing private games.

I'm one of those people that have both factions defaulted to female characters because of this medal. I don't mind it too much, but I will be using males a lot more once I Onyx the Battle Mistress medal. I think it would be cool if they incorporated a berzerker that's been scaled down to the MP character model size though. It would give the locust another female.

As for this medal, I'm less than 150 away to Onyx but I'm not rushing at the moment. I'm more focused on getting gold Master-at-Arms.

yup thats when the actual XBOX servers were down. I was watching a video and someone said if you make your party local before starting it up it won't kick you back to the main menu, but whatever just yank your ethernet you aren't missing much when you're not home.

I began trying to boost for it by actually playing 1 Round Warzone matches with 1 bot set to casual just to speed it up, but got to boring for me and I stopped at like 175 matches, guess I will finish the rest online in CTL. Once I get that medal onyx I will be switching back to my defaults as seen in my sig.:)

I heavily agree with this. Why in the world do I have to let somebody kill me five times just so I can hopefully execute them and get a plus 1 to my vengeful count. Such an incredibly stupid medal. I'm all up for medals about executing, but a medal that requires me to die five times to the same person and then hopefully down and execute them with out getting killed or having the kill stolen, let alone do that 75 times just for bronze, is ridiculous.

This, it doesn't really take that long I switch back and forth from female to my main (Clay) and it is not that bad.
