Cmon guys its a joke, honestly when i see a sawed off i just walk backwards or take a long lap around the corener and just use a mid range gnasher or lancer. then he is dead. If he is hiding behind corners then check your corners. Ever heard of a game called "counter strike"? That game will one shot you anywhere and they check their corners in first person.(different game i know) To continue what i was saying. Gnasher is way better. Once i see that double barrel shoot at me I run right in for the insta gib. ( the reload of that weapon is long as hell). Use EVERY WEAPON. Retro lancer is amazing at close to mid range Or throw smokes around corners. maybe do something called "the shake and bake http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGLrHNxZW2A. Since many people need a video :/. Honestly also warzoneis amazing against the double barrel. Why you ask a game mode?! Bassically if you use anyof my steps you will realize when you down them you dont need to be in there face for the kill. So you are much safer. And at less risk to get double barrel'd by his team mate :P. I love this game. Nothing is wrong with it. Maybe the lack of maps but that is irrelevant. <3 epic

But on topic, I completely agree. I love the satisfaction of knowing they are going "oh s***!" when thye have left off their shot and they see my gold Gnasher come up to them and they are blown into pulp.

I hated it during the beta and the first few games, but after a little while i got better at seeing it before it got too close and staying mid range and using the gnasher mostly but the hammerburst works well for me ass well.

I tried the DBS yesterday and I gotta say If 2 people run up close enough 2 me that I can take both of them out with 1 shot thats there fault . They had ample time to lancer me but nope they got there gnasher out ready to gib me lol poetic justice.

When I use it and miss I know I'm yelling 'I'm so dead!" while trying to roll away. I was playing numerous rounds last night where one guy on the other team was using a sawn off the whole time. I thought it was a blast because we would mow down the rest of his team but we were constantly yelling 'Where is sawn off?" if we saw him we would all scream like little girls roll backwards and weigh him down with lead. It was so much fun because he never learned. You get this mentality when using the sawn off that you are invinicble and will just run in to a room blindly. I think it is a fun gun to play against as you are constantly checking everywhere for the player using it. BTW it was KoTH

You "smart" people are talking about 1 vs 1s . I keep getting hit by it in the fray of fighting. Having a good gnasher battle, then that thing hits me from who knows where. Or a guy runs around a corner (esentially a 1 vs 1) that I'm behind and runs straight by and pulls the trigger and kills me without even turning towards me, meanwhile I shot them in the head with my gnasher. Interesting. Guess that is all skill. LOL. Most of the time they run in and do the 1 shot and then run off. Kill them you say. Well if ever I use it to get back at them using it and I do the run I am almost never caught. It's easy to run and not be caught. Much harder to chase and catch. They get the reload and jump back at you and get the easy non aiming kill. Why is this so hard for the poor players that use it to understand?

Anytime I get killed by the DBS it is my fault. I didn't check behind corners, didn't check behind me, or I let the guy get in too close and missed my shot. When it isn't my fault is if I hit them square and we are at equal gib range. We should both be gibbed. Other than that it is pretty easy to kill a DBS user and now that there are lights on the thing, it's even easier.

Smoke grenades are your friend against DBS users. If it doesn't stun them for the easy kill, it will at least let you know someone was hiding there.
