So, the question is can the boss be beat on hardcore by yourself? The reason I ask is because I swear I tried 6-8 times and keep failing right before you need to put 1 more hammer of dawn blast into the queen.

Yes I beat the campaign by myself on hardcore. I can give you tips for the fights. You should be taking ZERO damage during the final boss fight.

Aye, I completed it as well. I was downed a few times and took a tiny bit of damage some other times from her hell beam. In fact, I found the Theron Guards that came up from the sides of the building to be more of a threat than she was. Just pay attention to where she pops up and stay behind the HoD pillars and you'll be good to go.

The only problem I am having is when the queens bug goes on the tower and it is like you cannot shoot the bug and defend yourself from the Therons at the same time. It would be ok if the bots shot the bug or helped with the Therons.

the final boss was so easy. i did it on hardcoe. took a while but i never struggled. just shoot the thing then hide behind a pillar when it does its blast

I beat it on hardcore, but I died several times but one of the reason is I didn't have enough ammo
yup. i beat it by myself last night on hardcore. it was tough though
