Adam kept trying to explain things to Marcus such as who the queen was and Marcus kept saying things like "It can wait Dad" or "We'll talk about it later". I was like c'mon Marcus let the man speak! I wanted to know some of the stuff he was saying! :p

Seriously. And Adam is nothing if not thorough, so you know he would take a long time to explain things. That's why he didn't bother to try to explain anything: he was too busy launching the weapon and keeping his own lambent infection from consuming him before the job was done.
