The Brothers to the end chapter made my eyes tear up...I couldn't help but want to cry it was just so sad. Did anyone else feel this way?

yep..I've been playing as him since gears 1..and never in my 10 years of gaming have i been upset in a cutscene..and that one..i was heartbroken lol :(

Agreed..i even got that song on my phone now..DOM was my fav from any other game i have played..he topped them all and will continue to be him till my xbox blows up, now whenever i play campaign..i'm playing that song through the mic.

I'd seen it coming from a mile away from the chapter name and plus every single troll in the world all ready spoiled it for me. But I'd felt the Adam Fenix death scene had more emotion in it.

The part of that cutscene that actually hit me the hardest was when Dom said "Never expected it to end like this, huh Maria?" and does this little reassuring laugh to himself before while he's hitting the gas. Chills...

Not even close. I had tears come to my eyes when Dom spoke with Maria at the grave site, I was full blown crying during his death. My girlfriend cried right beside me. It killed me inside.

Yes i have been playing since gears of war 1, The campaign really upset my in some parts i loved how at the end you see Carmine get up and it says grub killer on his Armour... i thought this was an awesome scene

Not gonna lie, but Dom's death is probably the saddest moment for me in my gaming history. Just knowing his background of having lost everyone he loved and having to have killed his own wife to end her suffering made it even worse for me. When the Mad World song started I nearly started crying. It got me that bad.

Dom's last lines are actually amazing in terms of how much emotion are in them, "Jump will you? Do it!" is when the tears started and Anya trying to get Marcus up afterwards, some amazing and emotional voice acting, made the scene. Baird and Cole's reactions brought it all back, especially how quiet Baird got "Oh f**k, no." made my stomach drop, so yes I most definitly got emotional.

This scene was probably the best put together in game cinematic i have ever witnessed in a video game. All in all the whole story was very well written and was filled with emotion and drama from coles trashball memories to doms death and the torment marcus felt after doms departure. Adams death and also the death of Myrrah at the end considering she was the bad guy it was filled with emotion and anger.

I have to say hats off to Epic Games i played the campaign from gears 1 to 3 and it was one hell of a ride.

Yeah. I teared up. Couldn't help it. I love GOW and have come to really care about these guys since '06 when it came out, and I'll never forget the experience of playing Gears for the first time. RIP Dom.

It was insanly sad did get abit teary but had to suck it up as I was playing it on 4 player co-op with my mates though we were all silent for abit afterwards till they knew I dealt with it well.
Playing as Dom from the start made me feel really connected to him and all the **** he had been through but to make it worse the bit which leads up to the cutscene in the gameplay fight I was actually seperated from the others as I was fighting off the lambent attacking from the back plus I was running out of ammo and was even slow to try and cross the bridge. Still he went out like a boss couln't have asked for a more epic way for Dom to die.

This might cheer you up...The knife that stabbed the queen was the one Dom gave to marcus to open the gas line up right before he died. So in a way he stabbed the queen too.

Emotional moments for me were....Cole's day dreaming in the Cougar's lockers...Dom at the Flores family grave...Dom's death , it was a very sad moment to be honest...i got the chills when Marcus gets angry at Aaron and tells him his brother died...When Adam Fenix died i felt sad and frustrated because DUDE! so many answers that i wish he'd have told us ....Clayton Carmine when he shot the Queen's bug was like D:, then later in the end was like YAY he's still alive :D , i actually was very happing and clapping, im a Carmine's family fan and bought my Save Carmine shirt :P...and the last scene with Marcus and Anya was pretty emotional too

this, but there was 2 spots where i felt really sad. the first was when sam tells marcus that she will tell baird and cole that doms dead, and marcus tells her no. and the 2nd was when you are reunited with cole and baird on azura and marcus tells them that "dom is gone"

I felt like not mourn, because he saw it coming from Gears 2 (maybe I was getting the idea), I hurt more when Dom had to apply eutanacia Maria.

Especially since they passed title: Brothers to the end, I said, and will kill to Sunday But it soon. But they did. Lol. It was more upset that I felt when they killed so early in the campaign that sadness.

I became very emotional during the brothers to the end part. So emotional, i cried... Tears of laughter, that is. Hahaha, the scene looked awesome and finally the by me most hated character in the history of Gears got killed off. Thank you Epic!

it is probaly one of the best cutscenes in gaming history.
the part wheir he talks to his wife.
and marcus screams dom NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and mad world comes on and dom closes his eyes that is the tear breaker.
i bet it beats the number one right of the list.
that till this day still is the scene from the darkness where jenny and jackie die.

I didn't cry but it was def. upsetting. It was similar to growing up with the Harry Potter series and then seeing the final movie and realizing it is the end.
