- The experiments occurred a long time ago, and were taken down into the mountains, deep underground
- The queen knew Adam, and both being scientists would complete that connection

1. People who were experimented on when they were found to be infected with imulsion,and they were the end result. They might have been locust too.

Pretty sure the books say they found her body somewhere, she is definitely dead. Pretty sure it is in the info thread in the main forum.
