I am mad all the locust are dead, I wanted the locust and the humans to survive. To say that they could not coexist after over a decade of war is like saying we humans never evolve. Time heals all wounds even lancer cuts :3, I am disgusted that Epic would kill of the most bad A** non human species in the history of gaming. Sure I didn't want no Halo 3 ending, but dammit I wanted the horde to be eternal and return underground as well as above ground. They could have un-flooded the hollow somehow.

I have to admit it was kind of cheesy for Marcus to just stab her. At least a little more EPIC death for the Queen of the Locust. But you have to figure, she didn't die by the Adam Fenix's weapon, she HAS to be human in some way. And what about those damn SIRES?? Nothing on that unless it's coming up in the next game...

Naaaah, Marcus said "this is for Dom" because the locust killed his family and turned his wife into a vegetable, pushing Dom over the edge and causing him to want to kill himself. I guess that's why.

Not all the Locust died. Just the ones who spent way too much time near imulsion. (like 80% of the population) The cutscene makes it look like they all die though.

It was also "for Dom" as Marcus used the knife given to him by Dom earlier in the campaign to loosen the lever he had to pull, to kill Myrrah.

it could always have 2 timelines. anvil gate and aspho fields were both named after events that occured before the games came out, yet they weren't entirely set in those specific times.

the ending could have been far more interesting and intense i would of liked a one on one fight with the queen between marcus, and having delta yelling for marcus's safety while not being able to reach to marcus to aide him and there being this intense situation like a button combo situation the ending could have had alot more closure i mean some of it was great and some of it was bad in the ending! but overall its a great game

Think about it guys: The Locust are all dead so no asshat can declare a Gears of War 4 5 and 6 on us like they did with Halo. The only thing that can happen now is a Reach-esque prologue game, maybe.
