infinite loading screens please help

I can play campaign fine but horde,beast,and versus go into infinite loading screens when marcus is leaning on his lancer. Also i installed it to my harddrive and it still does it. So i thought maybe the install was corrupted and i deleted the installed game and install it again with no avail.Then i returned it and got a different on and installed it and still the same thing. Please help.

I am having the same issue as well, although it never gets to the main menu. It just sticks at the loading screen with marcus. The system still responds and the loading animation continues.

This ONLY happens after the mandatory update. Without the update, I cannot log on Live.
