View Full Version : Domination Skin did not unlock!?

I think its the Chrome Sawed Off skin that comes with the Dmination Gears 1 Achivement right? anyways check my Gamertag I have it but did not get the unlock I got everything else it seems but that! Could it be that I didnt have Xbox live until after I unlocked it? Because that sucks I really wanted it lol.

I have the same issue. I've played Gears of War for both Xbox 360 and PC. I don't have the PC version achievement but I have Gears of War 1 and 2 both 100% complete. Not sure why it didn't give me the skin.

Yeah I have the other skins. The Chrome Retro Lancer is what you get from earning "Domination"

I saw that we both got the achivement while not connected to xbox live so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it.

Mine hasn't unlocked either and I was definitely connected to live when all the others unlocked successfully.

It would make little sense to require a timestamp for a campaign related achievement to unlock the chrome retro. I hope if this is it they change it. My girlfriend and I did it in gears one while playing in the garage on a 27 inch tv lol. Not on live. just playing the campaign. The way campaigns were meant to be played in GOW1. Offline.

as far as i know this will never change and its very dumb if they dont change it, since i unlocked the domination achievement offline at a friends house i will never have a gears of war 3 Chrome Retro lancer skin along with alot of other gears of war fans.....

it hs to have timestamp or not finish the story mode.same happened here and got it when beat story mode.
