I am lagging whenever I play online. It had went away for a while until I played a quick match KOTH then it just started lagging again. I am in a match right now (team deathmatch) where I am in the death cam looking at my character if I move my joysticks in any direction then my character just starts moving in a circular pattern around the waist. This happens on all maps and I have the game installed on my hard drive. The game before this one I was disconnected from xbox live and will receive an incomplete match penalty. In some games I am able to control my character but I will skip and shift all over the map and if I attempt to shoot my shots do not register.
I am playing with a few friends, I played with them on yesterday and I did not lag at all playing with them.
I can play campaign, horde, and beast modes generally free of lag, but I didn't buy this game for those game types.
I am playing on a college campus connection, but I have a router set to optimize my xbox's networking abilities.
