HDD install error

I have an original 360 with a 120GB HDD. When I try to install to HDD it says it can't read the disc & the disc may be dirty. I've never gotten this error before. I've cleared the cache & that didn't help. What now?

I had this problem a few weeks back before I sent my xbox off for repair, it seems your 360 is having trouble recognising disc's, which is what happened to me, and I could not play, let alone install any game to HDD, if you still have warrenty, send it off to xbox for repair, it took them 1 and a half to repair it and send it back, really quick considering it went to Germany.

I just deleted The Batman installed game from my xbox, and it reinstalled just fine. I don't think it's my Xbox, it's much more likely to be the game disc.
