GoW3 MP *Tips and Tricks* Guide

Just as the title says. Lets get the community to put together a guide of tips, tricks, strategies, etc. to help out the newer players, and just for a refresher.

First of all, we'll start out easy, the Retro needs to be fired in short bursts, other wise you aren't going to hit anything.

Don't bunch up, makes you an easy target for the Sawed-Off

Communicate with your team, in every game type. I've been playing with most of a team, and we generally do much much better than when I roll lone wolf.

Forget about Wall bouncing, its useless in Gears 3.
Use the sawed-off to kill People, its easy.
Use the lancer to take People down, its easy.

Tons of tips I can think of, but the most important one that not many player realize yet: You can spot enemies for your teammates. Very similar to Battlefield and just as useful. So use it!

YES! Spotting can help your teammates exponentially. :D

From playing: 1. When using the sawed-off, shooting from the hip seems to be much more effective
2. Don't pick up power weapons just for the hell of it. Know how to use them. For example: If you pick up the sniper, go for headshots. Or if you pick up the boomshot, use it for clumped together groups or the one guy giving everyone trouble and not just the next person you see.

No it's not its actully easier to do now imo

back on topic, dont stand still when shooting the shotty (if using the gnasher) strafe from side to side :)
