I haven't got the greatest KD or anything to start but can easily be lifted. The game is AMAZING and I don't find myself irritated which makes for better call outs etc. My ONLY issue with the game is 3 rounds in execution/warzone and I don't think the man up rule is a good idea but honestly hasnt come to that yet.
Hopefully Epic sees this because we are spending more time in matchmaking then playing.

I think the Campaign is great, but the multiplayer experience...it just doesn't feel like Gears of War to me. I can't see myself playing this game for 74+ days of total game time like I did with Gears 2. I'm disappointed with it, but glad that everyone else is enjoying it. :)

I'm loving the online side of things. Like the OP said I don't find myself getting irritated either during games unlike Gears 2 where at least once a game something stupid would happen causing me to curse hehe
The diversity and depth of the multiplayer in this one absolutely trumps the other 2 gears. It isnt even a close discussion.

What planet are you from. GEARS 2 was the worst online MP experience ever!

I know a lot of guys (myself included) who really enjoyed Gears 2 and logged days/months into that game.
Gears 2 gets a bad wrap for its P2P, but everybody on these forums talks about is "adapting" but nobody wanted to do it for Gears 2. Why? Because Gears 2 was a substantially harder game to play. Just about everything was Execution Rules, the shotgun was flakier, movement was slower, and it required that you be good at wallbouncing (or you were dead to rights).

Lets not get carried away. The only reason why Gears 2 was "hard to play" for some people was because of the fact the game was a mess due to lag and latency. Having a gun whose damage seemingly changes at random does not make a game better, it makes a game worse, and it makes it an inconsistent mess where often time the better player loses.
I enjoyed Gears 2, and was good at it, but it was riddle with bugs and issues.

Pssshhhhhhhhhhh I cannot believe what I'm reading.
Gears 2 was trash. I played it forever hoping everytime I turned it on that It was all one big joke since release and some sort of magical update was going to fix everything.
They updated it alright...but The game just got WORSE and I was extremely disappointed since the day the game launched.
We finally got our magical game and you want to harp on how good gears 2 was!?!? Get real man.

Now that you've played GOW3, put your GOW2 disc in and you'll find out just how bad GOW2 is. You'll wonder how you ever logged so many hours playing it.

Being buggier/glitchier doesn't make the game "harder to play". If anything it makes it easier because of how luck based it is.
GoW2 was NOT a hard game to play. Ever. It was just a flat out bad game that didn't work.

I'm a little bored with it atm. There are many newbs online which don't provide a challenge. Occasionally I see a golden gnasher which prompts me to dbs and lancer down them untill they quit. There seem to be very few gears 1/ beta players than actually put up a fight. Hopefully will start coming up against better people soon.
