View Full Version : No Spanish Audio???

I was totally disappointed when I figured it out that GoW3 doesn't have spanish audio like the previous versions of GoW...

It is the only game I prefer to play in spanish instead of english!

No! (That's Spanish for "no" for those who aren't bilingual.)
There are totally Spanish subtitles and audio for Gears 3! You probably need to change the language and locale to Spanish and Mexico or Spain. Let me know if this solves your problem.

I have the same problem, i already tried a lot of combinations with the lenguage and the region but is always in english.
i have a similar issue with Master Chef in REACH all the voices are in english including firefight, but in the configuration where you buy the voices are in spanish.

Are you from south america guys? Because I bought it here in Spain and its totally in spanish... By the way, the voice actor from Baird is not the same, he doesn't sound like an asshole anymore... :(

i though that gears 3 would have spanish language track, like gears 1 and 2 when bought in u.s.a.

do i need to re-buy a copy in mexico just for that ?

I hope so man, I couldn't find a reason for why Epic would make two different batches of games for two different regions LOL. Or at least release this as an update please!!!!

If you have your console in english the audio will be in english, if you change it to spanish the audio will be in spanish. I live in Mexico and that solved the problem, but also I got the game here. Hope this helps

I bought the game in USA. Changed console to Spanish and Mexico and everything's still in English. Funny how the Mexican version has both audio tracks LOL

LOL :D I think that both tracks where also in USA. Hope they release the track later for download because there's a lot of people living there that want to play in Spanish.

Bad news guys. Unfortunately, North American copies of Gears 3 do NOT have the Spanish track on them. The reason this differs from Gears 1 and 2 is because there simply wasn't room for it due to the size of the game. I'm sorry this has inconvenienced everyone and hope it doesn't sully your experience with Gears 3.

too bad :/ i love the spanish voices on gears of war, something is wrong :(
my copy doesnt have achievements, and doesnt have spanish tracks, thats too bad, epic should release a spanish track pack :(

damned that will be too hard :/ im from central america i we only get the US version :/

why can you apply a patch or dlc? fifa 10 had a dlc with a different lenguaje track

I feel really disappointed, because the 2 previous games came with Spanish audio, you will not take him to Latin America imports?Chucho88 well as I am from El Salvador and I really like but the audio in Spanish,the games here in our country is what is sold in the U.S. and sometimes we have to buy them at Amazon.com as my person who buy epic edition,and now go with it brings no Spanish.Why Mexico only if the copies sold in that country if you have audio in Spanish?

It has to be a way to patch Gears 3 and have the Spanish audio.

Whaaat ? that is not a valid answer for us. Since we bought GOW1 & GOW2 and they have both english and spanish languages and We didn't know that GOW3 has not the spanish audio. Nobody warned us. I feel very dissapointed and angry and I agreed with @Javi3r , you should create an exchange program.

I bought my limited edition copy for my younger brother who doesn't understand english and he is not going to learn the language in a month you know. He is very sad because he cannot enjoy his favorite game.

Epic must listen to their customers.

the bad news is that in best buy you cannot return the game once you've opened it. :(

That sucks guys... I really like spanish vocies too, they worried to get nice voices to every characters, voices that fit! But english voices are great too, Cole and Carmine are funny as hell, so if you can't change your game at least try to think of that... Nothing more I can say but I'm sorry guys... :(
