Why? The campaign left so many unanswered questions. I was hoping for it to reveal a little more.

Well, they have to keep a lifeline for the franchise in case they end up wanting to make more Gears games. It sucks, but it's common.

And to be fair, the campaign answered many questions as well.

after finishing the campaign i had more questions than before
