If you play the 1st week of release and get the VG achievement later can you...

...still get the golden gun skins?

What i mean by that is if you get the GOW3 game and play the first week it comes out on MP and you don't have the achievement yet but you later go on Gears of War 2 (say like a month or 2 etc or later on after GOW3 has been released) and get the VG achievement can you still unlock the gold gun skins like the one for the gnasher since you did play the first week?

Also sry if this was already asked because i looked and couldnt find anyone else mentioning this anywhere else on the forum

Yes. Gears of War 3 will check the first time you play each day if you've gotten any new achievements for unlocks.

So you are sure i dont have to have the VG achievement by launch day that long as i play the first week and then later on month after i finisbh with GOW3 i go back and get the VG achievement i can unlock the golden weapons?

The only gun VG unlocks the first week is the Golden Gansher, you will get all the others in the first week. If you don't play the first week and then get VG then you will get all the golden guns when the game registers your VG achievement.
