Let us vote for down times! :)

Basically, just wanted to get people's thoughts on letting, before each match, the players vote for down times for that particular game..

Just like map voting, basically have 5, 10, and 15 second options, that way we can have some degree of customization, in the event certain downtimes seem to benefit gametypes

Just a thought, wanted to get opinions and hopefully Epic will notice if the community wants this option :)

I like the idea...but what if a bunch of Trolls come in and vote 80?..i know 80 wouldnt be an option but you get me right?

No way. The down time needs to be universal in ranked...the game is competitive...you want different down times there is always private.

Okay, then.. offer Ranked Warzone 5, 10, 15 second down matchmaking, you get ranked for that one.. Im just trying to emphasize that some game modes might work better with different downtimes than Epic's choosing.. We should be able to effect that, as a community, in some way. I mean, who knows, this new Deathmatch game might be a total chaos fest with 5 second downs.. It might be better or more fun that way.. Shouldnt we be able to in-act that fact in ranked modes, then?

Like Wingman; everyone votes 10 because they dont want it to become a FFA match...i clearly see how it could benefit some game types. Good Idea.

If you had varying down times, ranked matches and stats would be irrelevant. Can't do it.

In Gears1 I always play with 10 sec and the trolls will just love it if they can vote so that they can ''hump'' over 60 sec just to mess with other players.
