And the Onyx ones are under the SKILL header, while there is a MULTIPLAYER ONLY header that has one Onyx related achievement beneath it. Does this mean Onyx has been announced to be achievable through other modes?

Typically the Onyx medals are achievable in any game mode. I believe it is just the starting weapons medals that don't count in anything other than competitive multiplayer, so the Onyx weapon skins have some kind of meaning.

Could be wrong though.

If you are talking about the Onyx skins for the starter weapons, its only for MP Versus.

Gotcha. So they lumped them in skill because some of them aren't. Cool, looking forward to the fact Epic is encouraging use of multiple weapons and gametypes.

More often than it should happen, people will confuse skill with playtime. And Gears of War considered, skill with being host. :rolleyes:
