We've been a clan for a little over 3 years now so we know what we're doing(not trying to insult any other clans). We have +20 members. We all have fun and love to do clan matches. There is a competitive side to the clan and there is the casual side, for those who choose not to play competitively. But nonetheless each side/group is still a big part of the clan, and you will be too if you join, whether or not you choose to compete.
We've recently made a new channel for our clan in which we'll be posting clan related vids. Ex: Clan match(es), ranked match(es) on whatever game with a full party of P4ndas, and/or 1v1's(optional) in whatever game you "specialize" in.

When you join your taught all the same strategy as everyone else in the clan. After you finish your testing your given a tier. After your given a tier you'll mesh right in with tons of our other members as smooth as a cog wheel in a clock.

Inglorious is a newly formed mature clan for Gears of War 3.

Well, that pretty much sums up our current situation, in actual fact Inglorious is lead by two gamers who have been playing together for the past 3 years, I have personally lead a number of clans and guilds across a range of platforms and games but have had to drop out of the 'clan scene' in recent months due to a lack of time.

With Gears 3 on the horizon however and with more time on my hands once again we decided it was the right time to get back into the competitive side of gaming. Inglorious is a Gears 3 team solely at the moment, that's not to say that we won't support other games once we're more established, but to start with we felt that it was wise to not overdo it and attempt to build up numerous divisions/rosters and instead focus on a single game - Gears.

Hey Strite, I'm interested in joining your clan but when I visited your website I came across a few problems...
- Both your rules link here and on your website's homepage bring me to a forum thread I do not have permission to view (gives me "You do not have sufficient access to view this page.").

- Your website is too "large" for me to fully view, there is no scroll bar along the bottom to shift it. I can view along the middle just fine, anything along the sides are either unseen or difficult to see.

I'd appreciate a workaround for these if there is one, so I can both read the rules before applying and view the site properly.

Just a little pro-tip from me. In competitive K/D does NOT matter. Look at the biggest Gears pros or any game for that matter, it's playing the objective and playing to win.

Also you do need to have a strategy and communication is your strongest tool. Your clan will not go far I can guarantee that, even if you all do have over 2.0 K/D.

I had a 2.3 K/D through the entire Beta playing ranked only, its not that hard, however winning and communicating is much harder when playing with the only goal being to have more kills than deaths.

Not sure if i'm looking for a 'clan' necessarily, but a group of mature players, no rage quitters, trash talkers, etc. Just want to play the game with mature individuals who use teamwork / call outs / spotting / tactics. If we lose we lose but i'd pref. it was a good game at least and not just because 3/5 people are trying to get montage clips or be one off heros. Hey Guys,

This is probably a noobie type question, but I will ask away. Please answer the question or just post where I can find the answer.

Long story short, I am new to GOW and started played Gears 3 when it first came out. I've read everything there is too read on the subject to getting better and training. Watched every video or lesson online, and I think I'm okay. Average player at LEVEL 15 now, and I have a full time job and only get ot put in a few hours a week. I would like to find a clan and join, but every clan I have found is looking for pros or leverl 25 and up. Good kill ratios, etc.

Is there a way for me to find a clan that will invest time in me to make me a better player and in return help me be a better clan member? I want to join a clan that welcomes new guys and allows them to move up in rank just like the real military that I was in.

I know I'm a newer member here and not a long time poster, but I just wanted to let you know about the Resistance is Futile (resistanceisfutile.freeforums.org)community. It all started with a bunch of folks playing some earlier titles that wanted an easier way to connect together and to avoid some of the negativity, trolling, flaming, etc. frequently found on developer forums. It's also a nice place to set up tournaments, set up community nights, and to simply find fellow players because of the fact that your thread isn't going to disappear in 2 seconds like it would on these forums.

While the site changes based on the focus of the majority of our users (currently GoW3) our goal is simply to connect players on all platforms with one another because let's face it games are 1000000000000000000000x more fun when playing with friends or teammates you can count on. Currently we are playing Brink, GoW3, Dead Island, MNC (can't wait for SMNC), and other titles as well. We have areas of the forum for PS3 and PC gaming as well as I am an avid 360 player, but also a big PC gamer too. You'll also find some gaming news pieces - usually new stuff daily and we'll be attending PAX East this year as well. Hopefully we'll get some juicy original news pieces then because a lot of us are connected to the development community in a variety of ways.

Zero Strategy (ZS) is looking for 2 Slayers and 2 Supports.

We are a newly formed clan with the intentions of getting our names out there amongst the competitive elite. We run all game types on ranked. We set up private matches to run through basic strats and advanced ones. Expectations of current and new members are to learn, grow, and improve constantly. I personally suggest that all who join keep current with all Gears tweaks and balances, weapon allocations, and Map knowledge. I am looking to get involved in Game Battles in the near future once we have solid, serious players on the team.

Racism, offensive remarks, and generally inappropriate language towards teammates and others is absolutely NOT TOLERATED. There will be no exceptions to this rule and it will result in a immediate removal from the clan. It is understandable that trash talk will happen, but threats, racial slurs or any other obscene language will not be tolerated and i cant stress this enough. I run a competitive clan and tempers will flare but we are all teammates and human beings and will treat each other and our competition with respect...we will set the example.

Now, the Slayers I am looking for need to be at least a 2.0 or higher in k/d. Support players need to have at least 500 or more downs in their stats in any given game type. I say this because it gives assurance that the slayers can handle themselves as slayers and the supports can hold down areas as supports. I do encourage my teammates to play the roles they are comfortable with. So if any are interested in joining please choose the role that suits you best and we'll try you out from there.

Also, anyone joining who wants to runs with us whether it be scrims or ranked please refrain from joining the party if u know u have circumstances that will have you AFK consistently. This leaves your teammates in a VERY bad position and will have you appearing to be unreliable.

Current ways to skip a try out IF you meet the other requirements:

-I am stuck on Arcade on Insane in Chapter for Campaign for 4 player co-op. I need a full team to complete the last two chapters. If you and two others want to join my team and they meet the other requirements, they can skip out on having to go through try outs if they help me complete one or both chapters.

KD Ratio is 1.5 and rising, W/L ratio is around only 1.2, this would improve dramatically with the variable of random team mates removed!

I'm an active player, and feel I have reached my breaking point playing with randoms...

I am looking for a serious competitive team to join that plays gamebattles and ranked matches and am also able to travel to LAN events when necessary. I have been a Gears only player since Gears 1 came out in 2006 and am an excellent team player w/ great communication but I am also talented individually. Lancer/Gnasher is the only combo I run and I am great w/ both weapons. I have my 100 Rank (Star Badge), Gnasher Master Onyx and Lancer Gold WITHOUT boosting. I play at least 3-4 hours each day (moreso on the weekends and can play more if needed) and I have plenty of experience in teamplay. I am an intelligent player and can understand/perform whatever my job is in each prospective strategy. I can play the slayer role well, support with accurate lancer, and am proficient with both the sniper and torque. (As well as boom, digger, etc.)

I'm only interested in an established team. I would definitely appreciate becoming part of a smaller, tight-knit team than a clan w/ dozens of members. I am 23 so I'd prefer to play w/ ppl 18+ in age as it seems to be far easier to focus and succeed with more mature ppl. I'm easy to get along with but I do take this game seriously and am looking to take it as far as possible and it would be great to find a like-minded team to achieve that with. I'd also prefer a team that is on a lot as it is impossible to function well together if you rarely play as a whole and it sucks playing w/ randoms. I have no issues w/ changing my gamertag if needed.

THE A TEAM IS RECRUITING FOR GEARS OF WAR 3. Introduced early in gears 2 we started the clan as an annex team hence the letter "A". We generally play Ranked matches and if youve checked any of the ranked leaderboards we always hold the top spots. In gears 3 we have moved onto koth of course. We are looking for koth players who know how to use all weapons in a very team oriented way.
Requirements:
-You must change your gt to an a team name. example "A TEAM AIRBORNE"
-You must have a mic and be able to communicate throughout all matches. In addition marking all opponents is a must.
-You must have at least a 2.0 kd ratio
-You must be an active player. There is always at least 5 A team members online. we have members throughout various timezones so there will always be people to play with.
-You must be able to hold your own also in different situations. You all know how the spawns can be in this game and you can end up in 2 or 3 on one situations. so you need to be able to hold your own or be able to stay alive long enough for backup to arrive. and then make your way back to the hill and the rest of the team.
