Were a small team looking to expand. We created the team in 2008. We went hard in Gears 2 and now were doing the same for Gears 3. Our stats are high and were looking for players who really know what there doing. Just an example of how your stats should be if you wanna try out..were looking for the best. (Your LVL doesn't need to be 100)

Thats my GT..I only really play TDM right now to because I am trying to unlock the onyx TDM medal. I also only play quick match when I'm solo, but when my team is online we play ranked.
If your a player who is good at Gears, plays to win, communicates well, uses good tactics and strategies. And just overall has good teamwork and plays smart then your exactly what were looking for.
Another thing is that we don't care what weapons you like to use..whether its the sawed-off or retro it's entirely your choice. Like me, my loadout changes depending on the map size. I do prefer the Gnasher/Lancer/Hammerburst loadout of course but on small maps (Checkout-Hotel, so far those are the only 2 maps I use these weapons on) I do use the Sawed-Off or Retro, or both in my loadout. And I don't care what anybody has to say about that..I prefer those weapons on small maps and I also gotta use them in order to get seriously 3.0.

Dark Side Alliance(DSA) is going to to be starting up a Gears 3 Battalion. We are a well respected clan which was established in 2004 on the PS2 as a Star Wars Battlefront clan. Since then we have grown into a multi-platform gaming clan community with divisions on both the 360 and PS3, each with Battalions in multiple games. On the 360 side we have a well established CoD Battalion and will be having our 1st Gears 3 practice tomorrow(11/9). For those who may be interested in joining and have both consoles the PS3 side has active Battalions in SOCOM and Warhawk(soon to be Starhawk). We are a clan based on rank, structure, teamwork and friendship, we don't have any k/d requirements...we are looking for gamers who believe in team 1st and personal glory 2nd. When we succeed as a team we succeed as individuals as well. The only requirements are that you are mature, have a mic as communication is important and play the game the right way. Each Battalion has weekly practices(usually 9pm-11pm EST) to work on teamwork and strategy.

I tried to start my own clan...website and everything, but it's not working out as planned.

I am currently ranked a 74

I play mostly Warzone and I am ranked in the Top 1200 in quick match

My K/D is a 1.7

And I consider myself, a very good player...and an even BETTER team player

My only stipulation is I want to compete against other clans on Gamebattles.com!!

Also having some course of strategy, by that I mean game plans is a MUST. I want to win, but everyone shouldn't have to rush in for a kill!

I would also prefer to be in a clan that does NOT have a ton of people already. I think 10-15 is perfect.

I can devote a decent amount of time to playing and practices, but my best times are in the evenings and especially the weekends.

Hi guys.

Ok so i'm posting here to help in recruiting a couple of new players for our GOW3 team at NGG (Next Generation Gamers -http://www.nextgenerationgamers.co.uk/ ).

I'm going to run through a bit about our clan, and the 'pro's and cons' of joining our Gears team, so you can see if its the team for you, even before you visit the site...I'm good like that! ;) (If you really don't want to read through all this post, I've highlighted at the bottom the important points)

Firstly, I'm not admin/owner or anything like that, I'm just a relatively new clan member who happens to think its a great place to be for gamers of a similar frame of mind to myself and the rest of the lads.

Now on to the clan itself. NGG has built up a good reputation over the last few years, mainly for its GOW1 teams in the past, and currently for its COD team which is at the top of its game. Its a UK clan (you don't have to be from the UK, but it just helps with play times, etc) for the more mature gamers and consequently only accepts people over the age of 16, with many members in their 20's (I'm 28), 30's and even some in their 40's. Its a clan for 'casual' gamers by name, but to be honest myself and some other members are anything but casual and play pretty much every day, and are entered into several competive competitions.
The clan as a whole plays in several leagues and competions (I'm not really 100% sure about the non-GOW stuff tbh) with GOW3, COD MW3, Fifa 12 and possibly BF3 being the main games we play.

Anyway on to the GOW3 side of things. We have just finished the first GOW3 season in the WGL (one of the biggest gaming leagues in the UK if i'm not mistaken)and it didn't go too well. Unfortunately for NGG our good reputation preceeded us, and the admin at WGL assumed we would have a top GOW team and put us in the Premier division.... which resulted in our short-of-numbers team losing all our matches. :( ... However since then myself and a few others have joined and with a couple more decent players brought in we think we can have a good season.

Ideally we would love to bring in a good sniper (basically in our last scrim the other team had an amzing sniper and it made such a difference to the final outcome). A couple of us can be good with the Longshot but in truth just aren't consistent enough with it. That said even if the Longshot isn't your thing but you're still a good player we'd love to see you over at NGG.

So In short

What NGG can offer you

*Competitive, yet fun matchplay (This season there is an Execution league, a mixed mode league and an Alpha league, and we will probably apply for all three.... which would mean at least three matches a week if we got them all, although you are not obliged to play in them all... hence the reason we are looking for an expanded squad).

*Regular scrims, ranked and even just quickmatch play.

*Lots of people to play online with. Like I said earlier, you will pretty much always have people from NGG online.

What NGG expect from you

*You have to be active on XBox Live and also on the forums to a certain extent (although I don't think this is as important as Being on Xbox Live).

*We don't insult or blame our own teammates for anything and we don't get into childish GameBattles type trash talking arguments with the other team. If anything we have friendly banter and leave matches on a friendly note. NGG is a mature community so if thats not what your looking for NGG probably isn't for you. (although that said, I spend a lot of time 'effing and blinding' at myself and my connection! :D ).

*Understand that you have to go through a 4 weeks trial (although you can still play all matches, even in the leagues during this) to see if NGG is the place for you. Its not a trial of skill, but more to see if you get on with the guys at NGG and they get on with you.

SO.....

If you want somewhere to play LOTS of Gears then come and join our forum, or send a FR to either myself (GT- Playmaker03 or NGGKNOCKER -NGG admin). You might find that if you are a really good player and you do join, you are the best player on the team. However for the type of person people we are looking for, this wouldn't be a problem and hopefully you could see the potential in playing for such a well repsected clan, and help take us forward! :)

I know I've gone on and on...and on, lol ...but hopefully its peaked the interest of some good guys here (personality is as important as skill).

I joined and there's a bunch of fun people here. We have both competitive and non-competitive teams. Don't let the whole BC test and PT squad training scare you. We aren't that strict, we just want to know what kind of gamer you are and where you would fit in among the clan.

Hey,
I play gears and consider myself an above average/good. I go to school so I can not play every day for several hours like many of the other players I see on this forum. I still keep myself "active" in gears of war and I do not play any other games. I feel like I need a team to improve my game further as this is a team-based game and I sometimes get overrun while lone-wolfing.
I have nothing against people utilizing sawed off/retro load out, but I will stick with my gnasher in CQC. I can, to a certain degree, master all starter weapons and most of the map-based weapons. Needless to say, I can easily switch my lancer with HB/retro if needed.
I consider myself good at strafing and above average at wall bouncing, although I still got some aspects to learn. I do know when to wall bounce/strafe, though, and do not utilize it when not appropriate (no offence, but some guys out there tend to only wall bounce and hence missing their shots).
I enjoy a good game of TDM, but my bread and butter playlist is KoTH. I play any gamemode and like to vary a lot. (haven't played that much Warzone, though, but I love Execution)
As a person I love winning and working as a team as well as being able to stand on my own feet if my team mates are dead or at a different place than me. I do not rage/ragequit and despite my love of winning, I am civil if I lose.
As a person I will describe myself as fun, calm and a good partner in crime (gaming ;) ).
Lastly, my time zone is GMT+1 and I live in Norway. I will not be able to travel to join tournaments etc, but I will gladly join any online-tournaments.

After a successful second season, the WGL is bringing you season 3 of the UK based Gears league, and with it promises of an even better experience!

In season 3, there will be three leagues available:

- 5v5 Mixed Modes League
- 4v4 Execution League
- 4v4 Alpha League

[Mixed Modes League]
Season 3 sees CTL being dropped from the mixed modes game roster. Therefore weekly games will be played on Execution/Warzone, KOTH and Team Deathmatch gamemodes. Depending on how GOW3 Guardian plays we may include this mode in the later stages of the season.
- Sawed-Off shotgun remains banned in this league.


[Execution League]
No changes from Season 2
- Retro Lancer and Sawed-Off Shotgun remain banned


[Alpha League]
The Alpha league was a great success last season so we continue to offer this league. Format remains the same with games being 4v4 and the league being played using KOTH, Warzone/Execution and TDM game modes.
- Lancers and Gnashers stay as the only starting weapons for this league

[Across all Leagues]
- Ink grenades remain swapped for Smoke grenades on all maps
- DLC maps will be included
- Maps are always played with the default weapon spawns
- Friendly fire is ON for all leagues
- Certain Characters are now banned (females and select others)

*1st April* - Registrations Close
* 9th April* - Season kicks off

We advise anyone unfamiliar with WGL to have a look at the rules section for each league they are interested in entering. Please note there are restrictions regarding minimum and maximum roster sizes.

WGL information
The idea of WGL was thought of in the summer of 2009, many leagues emphasis is on bringing in the most skilled clans to their league and most prized events are geared towards these clans along side being very serious. Unfortunately many clans who wish to play in a competitive environment yet fun atmosphere are excluded or have no chance to win prizes. WGL is looking to change that by allowing these clans a fun atmosphere to play in alongside players of a similar skill.

The WGL stared out as a mixed modes league played on COD WAW. Since then various COD leagues have been created, FIFA leagues added and in 2011 Gears 3 leagues included. On the COD side of things we are now into our 11th Mixed modes season, with 5 divisions and 43 teams playing.

The General Guidelines for H2O Recruitment




There are several requirements to becoming a H2O. And all of these requirements must be met before you are granted your H2O tag and or title.

The first of which is you need to have a forum account, you can register for one HERE (http://www.pmsclan.com/forum/register.php). Once you have your account you must post an application HERE (http://www.pmsclan.com/forum/project.php?projectid=36).

It is imperative that you send a friend request to H2OGearsRecruit on XBL. If your gamertag is different than your forum name, please send a message with your friend request.

Once this takes place, a pre-recruitment meeting will be held and it is only after the meeting that you will be considered a “Official Recruit”.

Even before you are considered a recruit it is good to know a couple of things about this division and about H2O in general. First and foremost we are here to support the PMS girls. They are our sister clan and need to be treated with Love and Respect. The use of the word R*PE will never be tolerated. You MUST respect everyone within the clan and those you will play with online. Disrespect will not be tolerated, nor will racial slurs/comments or negative comments towards the *** community. You will be warned once, but if the incident is severe enough, you will be automatically removed. We also do not tolerate glitching or cheating of any nature.

With that said, during practice hours we ask that you focus on practice. Please do not send or respond to messages during practice. If you need to have a conversation with someone in your home please have the courtesy to mute yourself so that your team does not get confused. If you are standing still in spawn for more than a round or two we will drop you from the room, if you are booted from a room more than two times during your recruitment, you will be dropped as a recruit and have a 30 day time limit before you can re-recruit.

If you are behaving badly in a room it is the practice captains right to remove you and let the leader know. If this is done twice as well the same results will follow. As a recruit you are required to make fur hours a week for four weeks If you cannot and or do not, make your required hours for two weeks straight you will be dropped from recruitment and will have a 30 day waiting period before you can recruit again or when your schedule will allow it.

At the end of your recruitment you will be required to attend orientation. This will either be clan wide or as held by your leader. In this orientation we will go over the PMS|H2O Handbook. This document covers all the rules and regulations that you as a future H2O are required to follow and uphold. When it is your time for orientation, your leader or recruitment manager will message you with your scheduled orientation time and date. If you cannot attend please let him know swiftly. Your H2O tag will NOT be approved until you attend orientation. There are no exceptions to the rule.

During your recruitment it is imperative that you follow the chain of command. In order to keep this division running smoothly, we ask that you follow the chain of command and please keep in mind that all leaders and staff members are volunteering their time and deserve your respect and will in turn freely give theirs to you. The chain of command is as follows:

• Maverick H2O– Gears of War 3 Recruit Managers
•Maverick H2O – Gears of War 3 Leader
• Blue Rose PMS & Diablo H2O - Xbox General & Xbox Co-General


Frequently asked Questions!
Please read through each of these questions and the answers. This has been created to try to help people with anything they are confused about since new rules have been implemented. New questions will be added if a need for them to be addressed is seen fit.

Who do I talk to if I have a problem with a division member, recruit, something that is going on in the division, etc.?
-You must first talk to your Recruitment Manager & Division Leaders. Do not go to someone else in the division or one of the PMS girls. This will only cause more problems in the division and more work for people that already have enough on their plate. We will not tolerate having to hear people's issues from someone else.

When can I have an H2O gamertag?
-You may only have an H2O gamertag once you have gone through recruitment and have become an H2O. Your leaders will tell you when it is appropriate to change your gamertag.

How long do I have to go through recruitment before I can become an H2O?
-You are required to go through a four hours a week for four weeks recruitment period. If you meet your hours for each week during that time span, you will then become an H2O. You will then be allowed to have an H2O gamertag. You will get your rights on these forums added once you have completed your recruitment and then attended an orientation. More info on orientation can be found on these forums or from a staff member.

If I am a recruit and I miss my practice hours for the week, do I have my recruitment extended?
-Yes. If a recruit fails to get their required hours of division practice for the week, then their recruitment will be extended another week. This is to make sure that everyone is meeting the requirements needed to become a member of the H2O Clan.

Hey, I have never been to this thread before, so I don't know how often it is looked at by members of the forums, but it's always worth a shot.

Team KSMK (pronounced cosmic) is looking for dedicated players who are good (obviously), cooperative, and versatile as a player. We are in need of players who are proficient with most weapons (Lancer/Gnasher especially, but also weapon pickups) as well as the ability to be a support player on top of being able to push and be in the heat of the fight.

Right now we do not have a website, youtube, or twitch or other streams, but I myself am looking to get a capture card so that we can start putting our name out there.

Because we don't have a channel for anyone to check out, it is difficult for me to display our skills and what we are looking for, but if you're willing to take a chance on us, rest assured you will not be disappointed.

*NOTE* Prior to trying out, we would like to get a feel for how you play, and playing a simple 1v1 will not display your skills as a team player. ALSO, please note that we are not interested in your K/D, but your W/L on the other hand will be taken into minor consideration, but again, as I can not stress this enough, we need team players, not players who are wrapped up in making sure their K/D doesn't get tarnished.
