This is a ps3 game coming out around the same time as Gears of War, this game is "suppose" to be the Gears of War killer. But from what ive seen so far this game is a lot better.

Everyone at E3 said it sucked.

Well RESISTANCE is Ps3 trump card for the launch. But it has not even touched the surface of the ps3 power. GOW hasn't grasp the fullest extent of the 360 so I will take my chances with GOW.

My friend likes the ps3 so he's downloaded a heap of Resistance clips,
but from what ive seen from them they look pretty shoddy when i play a GOW clip next to it.

I don't judge games till i've played them. I guess if i went purely on the demos. GOW wins hands down. but then again its an opinon.

ya IMO every website said it looked good but level design and gameplay was the same as a normal gen game. I think gears wins without a dought. Better graphics though they arent even making that their main focus (cough...sony...cough) they are really delivering the first of its kind. A shooter with next-gen gameplay! I like how cliffy says his favorite part is the next-gen camera. (2nd person, roadie run, action view button (y).) Im really stoked!

Hey guys not a bash, but this is a Gears of War Forum. Although I love hearing about new upcoming games, I'd rather hear it on their forum. Sorry.

BTW Gears of War owns whatever game that was... Couldn't even watch the whole thing.

Lets leave it at this:

Resistance is probably a great game, created by a bunch of talented guys, but frankly it's a beefy fps. We've seen it before really, that doesn't mean it's bad. It's taking what we're used to and adding creative weapons and enemies to it, along with a decision-based 'hero' system that looks interesting. We have no right to bash a game we havn't played, but this is also the Gears of War forum, and we should stick to discussing Gears of War, lest the admins lay the smack down on us all :)
