Is the chainsaw going to leave it mark on the enviorment? If you saw through a person next to a wall will the chainsaw partially saw through the wall and other objects? And how exactly do you counter a chainsaw? Do you move or do you buy time by sacrificing your gun to block?

The chainsaw will most likely mark the environment, and wait you do during a countermove in un-confirmed... ;)

i don't think there is any need to counter the chainsaw becasue to use it you have to be up close, but the person could be shooting and could have killed you before you have reached your target.

There is kind of a counter to the chainsaw, but it is a very simple one. If you shoot someone revving the chainsaw, they will have to re-rev, so you almost have to be stealthy when using it. I guess that can be considered a counter. The chainsaw will more than likely mark the environment.

Well, since I don't remember the control layout, can you even use the chainsaw and 'miss'? Isn't it x or something? If you can, then yeah, looking at the Unreal Engine, I'd say it would be able to leave marks on the environment. Haha, chainsaw a door to find you also did in a locust...that be a LMAO moment.

Ok, finally found the layout. And wow, I forgot about The Shining. Multiplayer moments like that would be awesome if you could record and save, like Burnout Revenge.

Cant catch a revved and running chainsaw, slice your hand in half, maybe catch the rifle where the chainsaw isnt touching and disarm the person and chainsaw them with their own gun :D

I do remember that but i think if they left it the way it is, it would be pretty fair. First, you would have to get in close, which is hard by itself. Second, you would have to get all the way there without getting shot, which is near impossible. If you can do all that, i think you deserve the kill. Whatever EPIC does, im sure it will work out great and be very balanced.

well eventually ppl will get good at sneak-n-saws, and the counter will be super-hard to do anyways.......

I would honestly love to catch a persons "Lancer" for you knitpickers, and drive thier own chainsaw into thier face in a power struggle.
