I know that Epic has talked about "eliminating load times" but I think games should have cut scenes to add to the "cinematic" experience.

Anyway take or leave these ideas as you will...

I always think of old war movies where men are sitting around a camp fire trading stories, before the **** hits the fan. A scene of the men digging in for the night, and setting up guard duty roster. The differences between each foxhole on the line. By differences I mean the topics shared by regular men compared to the leaders. The trenches, and tunnels (showing basically how the men might make their own cover when they come up on a well defended position. Walking up on a destroyed village or town, finding stragglers or deserters hiding out in buildings. my favorite idea: The camera zooming in on a foxhole conversation about Marcus (just before he's given command) of the men talking about some legendary thing he did before getting sent to prison that got elevated into mythical proportions by the grapevine, but basically makes Marcus feared and respected by his men.

Very nice, how about narratives between each chapter, where the gamer would be able to glimpse at the past, and dwelve deeper into the story. It wouldn't necessarily have to be a "cutscene" of sorts, it could very well be simple still images, with the voice of a narrator. Think of "destroyed beauty," now instead of reading the excerpts on the side, imagine someone narrating it while the images come and go, and then...voila, ready for the next fight. I believe it would add a sense of cohesion and continuity to the game.

Good ideas, and cinematics will most likely be apart of the game because at the end of the 1st level there is that one cinematic part where the corpser pops out of the ground

I like everyone's suggestions so far.

Personally, I'd like to see some cool cutscenes showing an underground Locust war factory, kinda like the orc scenes in Lord of the Rings.

They should make interative cutscene like in RE:4 I always liked that where u had to mash the hell out of a button right when you think you can just sit back and relax and then its like holy ****!

To some extent, all of the cutscenes are kind of interactive because of the point of interest button, which gives you the choice of whether or not you want to see the cutscene. I am pretty sure you can shoot and stuff while holding Y for the point of interest.

There are some cinematic parts:
1. Rolling the car down the hill
2. Talking to new characters
3. The part where he meets the lizard king

OK, number 3 is fake, but I'm sure there are some "cutscenes"

Yeah i know there are some but i was saying that most "cutscenes" are probably interactive because of the point of interest button but i know that there are some real cutscenes as well.

There will probably be a nice mixture of both cinematic and interactive cutscenes. The point-of-interest have gotten a bit more attention through out all the demos provided to us - so I am putting my guess on that there will be a bit more interactive scenes.

The only few cinematic cutscenes I have seen is from the nighttime demo where they enter a facility and find wretches eating humans, when they take cover at that old guys' house and finally when they run through the dark tunnel with krills flying behind them.

I too have always wanted to see that kinda interraction with the NPCs and other characters like Dom's remarks about Cole's weak stomach

I also would like to that, I can see it now in my powerful Imagination, Skorge, RAAM or some otherwise powerful and intimidating (or revered, bcuz not all locusts leaders are brutal, selfish tyrants) commanding troops and workers or human slaves being pushed around or instructed to do something. ive also wanted to see the following but now that cant happen because the Hallow is flooded but reguardless...

-a feeding session or cafeteria of locusts eating whatever it is they eat (aside from humans and rockworms)
-a cutscene displaying a parent telling their child to behave or they will get taken by the locust/boogieman IOW the legends that derived from real events
-Beast Riders saddling and preparing Reavers, Brumaks, and/or Bloodmounts for battle or simply tending to their care like feeding them or bathing them i guess
-Locusts interaction, like a group of them working, building, sharing stories, or communicating otherwise, some getting into fights or Therons trainning or bossing around other locusts
-Locusts interaction with captured humans

thats all i can think of but its surely not the only things i would like to see the locusts do in their natural habitat
