Why is this game unplayabe?

I waisted 60 bucks on a game that keeps failing while installing. I FINALLY get the damn thing to install and what happens? I run into the windows live crap. It tells me there's an update.... bull****. I try to bypass it since it fails to update. I can't bypass it. I try to find some sort of menu to go into to close the game out (like it says to do) and there is no menu.

What is the secret to playing this game? I'm very much at the point that I'm not going to deal with Epic ever again. Judging by the forums they don't care about supporting their games so I see no reason to support their company if they can't even program the ****ing game properly.

For a start, the only fault of Epic's is to go with Games for Windows Live. GFWL is a pile of worthless sh!t and I don't understand why anyone would support it.

Anyway, I've been having trouble too (with a different game), xBox servers are down (and yes, that means GFWL too).

You can check the status there. I'm waiting for it to be fixed so I can link my windows live ID to a freaking XBOX gamertag, so I can my game on PC!
