Long time lurker first time poster. I have started a model at home that is inspired by the GOW universe. The premise behind him is he is a flame throwing guy ready to torch up anything in his path. Due to his close proximity to his own weapon he has to be heavily armored so as to not damage himself. This also makes him very big and bulky as well as slow. He is a fire breathing tank in my mind. I will create the high res model first that I will then create the game model from.

Crits and comments always appreciated.

That's gotta be atleast 10,000 polys. No way that can fit in a game. Looks damn good though.

Good gravy, that's one of the best fan-art projects I've ever seen!

Maybe once we reach the Xbox 1080, you'll be able to see that in a GoW title. :D

the only reason it wouldn't fit in a game is bcause it is a high resolution model. once the model is done the game model is created off this high-res model. :)

Wow such an overwhelming response. Thanks

FortuneWookie - Thanks :)

Chainsaw Guardian - Actually it is just over 800,000 and you are correct. It would not fit in a game. I will use the high poly mesh to create a normal map for the low poly mesh.
Thanks

Zoso Fan - Thanks. Going to take me a while

n2cranes - Heh, I am sure Cliffy has much better ideas than mine.

Scoopable - Thanks a lot

Flesh1087 - Wow that is a very nice thing to say. Thanks

Soul - Thanks

UnrealWars - Thanks. Yeah I am not even sure what the actual flame thrower is going to look like yet.

Psycoblade - Yeah at least. It will just be used for a normal map right now though.

Raw - Thanks :)

Shogouki - Yup, winner

Chron1caust - Thanks, hopefully it will only get better

Macheteman7 - I do work for a game company but I am pretty sure we should not discuss it here. I just really enjoy the GOW world. Thanks :)

So I have started to work on the harness that supports the whole upper body system

Dude, I liked your model and watching your muscle and splinter scripts. You're obviously a professional or some kind of mad genius/scientist. ;)
