View Full Version : Unlocables after beating game...?
It would be interesting to have special unlockable stuff after finishing GOW single player. You wouldn't have to use these unlockables they would just be there for some added bonus'
Some of the stuff that you could unlock could be:
.All locusts wear pink aprons
.Marcus wears pirate hat (arrgh)
.Different Phrases from COGs
etc
Post some of your own ideas of some stuff to unlock.
These are just some ideas if there are any unlockables at all.

alternate costumes for th characters, Locusts w/ COG armor or Marcus w/ out armor like when he first gets broken out of jail.

A minigame of Thrashball, or concept art, showing the different stages of the game design, including its main characters, models and creatures that didn't work, ideas discarded, etc... An Epic Trivia maybe? Like the number of Pizzas consumed by the team in the period of one week? Could be fun.

-Destruction Game
Play as Brumak or Corpse or some other huge thing and run around map destroying buildings, killing people... All that sweet stuff :D
-Uhm........Thats all i got at the momento...
New game mode, where instead of playing a COG, you play the locusts, and you try your hardest to stop the COG's, if you die, you become another locust that comes in with the next wave (riding on a corpser or just running in) and then you have to tactically try to take out the COG's with your fellow locusts, and if you fail, you just respawn as another locust, and so on and so forth until the CoG's get to their objective or untill you kill them :D (NOT multiplayer vs, maybe co-op, as its another singleplayer type mode where you battle the A.I.)

except for the naked locusts one :D

dudes no no no no no no. This is Gears of War we're talking about people! not mini games on Poke'mon stadium. Unlockables aren't gonna be stupid like almost all of you suggested. It will be COOL not DUMB. If there are unlockables they will most likely be new mabs and different Locust to be on multiplayer. That's all i can think of although personally i don't think there will be any unlockables. GoW just isn't that kind of game. The makers didn't brake their backs on mutiplayer and campain and then ruin it by throughing somethying retarded in there.

You never know. EPIC seems like a very funny team and they could add something like this. I don't think that the map thing would work because some people just want to play multiplayer without having to beat single player to have all of the maps.

A unlockable locust mode would be excellant. There could also be a survival mode where you must defend a large outpost or something from wave after wave of locusts. Yet, we'll probably have a moment like that later in the game (probably where the locusts either get through jacinto, or find a way around). That would be an awesome moment. Almost anything else would be considered a candidate for Xbox Live marketplace.

It would be sweet to have a few mini levels like the unlockable one in Super Mario Brothers (Cliffy knows what i mean). In the levels you'd be the locust and raid an imulsion plant or a CoG camp/HQ.

Maybe after beating campaign mode, you get the option to create your own gear that you could use in campaign mode and multiplayer (kind of like what they're doing with the latest MK). Choose your own arsenal, armor, etc., maybe even create your own map to play on in multiplayer.
