Hi,
i want to replace my old EmEditor Free, with Notepad++ for taking simple notes and dropping temp code.
So maybe some of the NPP experts can help me with some configurations.
1: How do i disable these small doted vertical lines that show up if u hit tab?
2: Is there a way to configure (plugins) NPP like a browser with automatic session restore?
What im looking for is a way to just put text, code in some tabs and don't actually save them to separate files, but rather to a session that is automatically save on exit and restored on load?
Think of it like what most browsers do, u have a bunch of tabs open than close the browser and if u restart the browser it restores all the tabs.
I normally put a lot if "ideas" and temp/pseudo code in tabs inside the texteditor. I than work though those tabs or close them, but what i end up after a week is a folder with like "untitled1.txt, untitled2.txt ..... untitled12.txt".
Is there a way to get rid of the need to save each separate tab to a file and instead work in sessions only?
Thx Andy
PS: If someone know a other editor/notetool that has syntax highlighting and tabs support, feel free to post!
