When I picked up my EE of Bulletstorm it came with a sheet that had an EA Online Pass Code on it. Is this the code I need to get EARLY access to the Gears 3 beta or is there some other code I'm missing?

I'm hearing different things that theres a second code I was supposed to get that gets me in the early beta. Just want to make sure I have everything in order here.

mine came with a single code as well. and, im sure that code is needed to get the GoW3 beta.

Thats the code your gonna need for the Beta. Beta drops Mid April with the BulletStorm folks getting it a bit sooner.

isnt it just the online pass that also allows the beta. Lets you play online and get beta?

That is the code. After you actiavte it there will be a menu button inside Bulletstorm saying Gears 3 beta greyed out.

I pre-ordered the Epic Edition in NL, and got a single code at the backside of the manual. It reads 'Online Pass' in the big text, but the small text on the lower side clearly states: *Code expires on 31st December 2020. Good only for new purchases of Bulletstorm Epic Edition.

And what's even more confusing, is that a friend of mine who didn't pre-order got the exact same box, manual, and code lay-out but he DID unlock the green leach while I only got the Silver thing.

No offence, but it's getting really confusing now. What code does exactly what, how are different 'Online Pass' codes giving different things and am I getting in the beta?

The green leash is from playing the Bulletstorm Demo. And I didn't get my code on the back of the manual, just a seperate sheet. I guess its different in other places.

My friend just got an email from EA Support, reporting that they'll release an 'updated' manual soon and that you should return your copy for that new copy, if you pre-ordered the Epic Edition but didn't get it. Couldn't make anything usefull out of it. But oh well, in the end we all are going to play the beta, and Bulletstorm is a hell of fun, been playing Anarchy with my friends now!
