I think this file fixes graphic bugs
2) Extract http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TFBOFTY0 (DefaultCompat.ini) to ...Bulletstorm\StormGame\Config\
3) Delete StormCompat.ini & StormEngine.ini in X:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\BulletStorm\StormGame\Config\ (better to remove all configs)
4) Launch / play
Can somebody upload that megaupload link to a more suitable uploader with no download limit exception for some reason its says "Download limit exceded" every time I try

there is no file by the name stormcompat.ini
if ur referring to defaultcompact.ini than here it is. u should make a backup of the original and replace it with this...undo any changes u made in baseEngine.ini before running the game

I have a weird problem, as far as I can tell everything looks to be running fine, no messed up post processing or anything, and I'm not sure the textures are running at max res but I think they are, sometimes textures pop in and look ****ty but thats pretty common for UE3.
My main problem is everytime I try to change the Shadows to High, they are back on Low when I look at the settings in game.

This fix WORKS. It cleared up the last few textures that were blurred in the game for me :D!
Here is exactly the order of things I did to get things working properly.
Yesterday, I uninstalled all of Windows Live, GWFL, and Bulletstorm.
I then re-downloaded Bulletstorm, and I guess Windows live and GWFL were redownloaded with it.
Then, I attempted the fixes in the other thread which altered some of the .ini files before I started the game and allowed it to update (however, this didn't fix anything, but I'm listing everything I did before it was fixed).
Then, today, I performed the fix in this thread and started up Bulletstorm. The textures are fine now. I have yet to see any other negative effects, so I'm assuming that I finally got it right.

This fix worked great for me. All the textures look great now! I am very happy to have resolved this issue, it was really bugging me, no pun intended. Thanks a lot for sharing this. I am looking to buy a uber gaming system. Where would be a good place to go for one? Should I check out hh gregg (http://www.hhgreggnewstores.com), or would I be better off shopping online?

Can someone please re-upload the file? Megaupload is gone, and Mediafire removed it. Even through email, I'll take it :)
