gfwl corrupted file

title says it all i install the game go to run it get the online checker i try to run it and get this message
"games for windows live has encountered a corrupted file. please reinstall the game and try again".
Now i have uninstalled restarted installed and restarted after the install so many times now its not funny ive even tryed uninstalling every other game that uses gfwl on my com( not looking forward to reinstalling them all....) and i still get this message any reason why?

you do know that it installs gfwl every time you install bullet storm right? also i have tryed downloading it still get the same message

I am having the same damn problem! WHAT file?
I have run through all possible fixes that I can think of.
The game goes back tomorrow to get a new disk to try that out.
IT IS A SHAME THAT WE CAN'T GET OUR MONEY BACK!

depending where you get the game you can get your money back
also i have found a fix

download the Bulletstorm.v1.0.7111 patch and then the game will load and do its stupid verify thing ingame which works unlike current one.

i cannot find the site i downloaded it from stupid google chromes history...
but i have uploaded it here Bulletstorm.v1.0.7111 (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7GCRBKSB) so just download and run that and you should be able to play

Its an official update and you get it by starting up bulletstorm and try to log in.

It was released the same day the game came out, not sure what it does either.

no it was a bulletstorm update as for where i found it i just got it from googleing the problem cant remember what it was but there was no virus or malware in with it.

Well I can't get past this LIVE has encounted a corrupted file error and I can't apply the patch because it says I need to have passed the release date check that I can't do because of the error above.

I've also noticed that even after installing the disc auto launchers "play" option is still blanked out I am trying the repair option now.

If you have the same error has me then using the repair option found when uninstalling the game will fix this issue, once it's done your shortcuts will stop working but if you go to your version of D:\games\EA Games\Bulletstorm\Binaries\Win32 and open ShippingPC-StormGame.exe this should fix the problem.

I had a similar problem, where GFWL said I had a corrupted file. I did a repair and still came up corrupted.

Then I ran the zdp.exe file directly from windows explorer (can't remember the exact path, not in front of my gaming pc) and then it activated right away. Windows 7 / 64bit.

I reloaded for the 100th time moments ago.
This time the program appears to have worked, atleast I am into the game front end.
Didn't do anything other than reload, there must have been an updated file that was sent out?
