NAT is MODERATE?

Kay, so I got the game yesterday (Tuesday) and as I enter Multiplayer, the ticker at the bottom says "Latest News: Welcome to Bulletstorm - Your NAT type is MODERATE, you may have trouble hosting games". Now, don't jump the gun and suggest I forward the required ports; I have done that already. All the required ones for both PSN and Bulletstorm. And yes, my NAT is 'Type 2' as displayed in Internet Test. This is affecting my chance to experience Anarchy and is pissing me off.

Can anyone help me with this? I thank you.

And change your nat.

I have the same issue with this game. I've tried doing the port forwarding too and still get the same thing. I've have no issue with others games with being albe to host matches.

same thing happend to me bruh, i tried to play it online and it wouldn't work i called ea and they said my bandwith was to low to play it online??????????? wat lol so i traded it in and never got to play the singleplayer or multiplayer bulletstorm os a piece of crap if u ask me

Nothing wrong with the game itself, honestly. The MP isn't the whole experience so there's no need to sell the game just 'cause you can't play online!

you sold it because the online didn't work *face palm* people care to much about the online in fps now days :( bulletstorms single player and echo modes are some of the most fun in the game.

i laugh everytime i read about people selling a game when the MP doesnt work perfectly the first week the game comes out. if i buy a game with multiplayer i will play single player first and then try the multiplayer. i have found plenty of games are awesome on single player. the people only interested im multiplayer are paying $60 for a game of which they play maybe 50% of the entire game. why not try out all that you have paid for

I already have my PS3 in the DMZ. I really don't think that it's us. You can try looking at page 10 in your booklet to see what ports need to be opened.

Well here is my two cents on the "moderate NAT". Ok I run a wifi modem at my house and according to the PS3 I have a NAT 2. Which according to Sony is, "Type 2 - Connected through a router properly. Should have no issues"

So I am guess since this is a new game and there haven't been any updates yet, this will be fixed in the update. The issue is with the game and NOT with your PS3.

Same thing happend to me guys its crap i have to play private match because my nat is moderate WTF is that i play perfectly fine on other online games they seriously need a patch for ps3 i mean i really like when i actually get into a match its super fun but its like a one and 1000 times stupid sh*t:mad:

Update. I enabled UPnP which supposedly opens the required ports as they get received. My connection tells me my NAT is Type 2 but Bulletstorm still tells me it's MODERATE.

What's funny, too, is I was finally able to connect to a game but then had to get off 'cause I was leaving to get some Taco Bell. Haven't been able to join another game, sadly. I guess I'll stick to playing through Campaign till patch 1.01 is released. :)
