can anyone get a GoW screensaver????

hi, im new here
was just wondering if any of u super cool computer artists can make screensavers?? ive looked around the internet and done a forum search and i cant find anything
im really desperate for one, any help would be much appreciated:cool:

Well, it's not hard to do, and the best screensaver I could think of would be to just download a bunch of gears of war officially released shots, and artwork etc... and pop it into a screensaver maker, not sure of any good ones but, thats the bestest easiest way I can think of...

I am just too lazy to make one :)

Or just save those pics into a folder and play them as a slideshow. That should work.

Actually XP has "My Picture Slideshow" built in, so if you have XP you don't need the third party app but it may make it easier??

just looked at settings and u can only use everything in the my pictures folder u cant just select the ones u want
so i made a new pictures folder called "richards pics" and moved all my pics into there and just kept the GoW ones in my pictures and its all cool now

is there anyway u can make the pics in the screensaver be full screen??

This isn't a screensaver, but a SWF (Macromedia Flash) file. It's big; over 15 MB. It's not made nor endorsed by EPIC, it's just a bunch of screenies I've gathered with a fade effect. You need to have the Macromedia Flash Player to play it (available at macromedia.com) and you can hit CTRL F (or use the menu) to play it full screen. When it starts you can drag your mouse out of view. I've been using it as my screensaver for a few weeks, you guys are welcome to it. I just updated it with the new screenies the other day. There are free screensaver programs out there but they have nag screens. I prefer it this way anyway, you don't have to install anything or uninstall it when you get tired of it. I just keep the file on my desktop.

thats the best way that i can think of to make a GoW screensaver! i saw on the CGH website that they had a section for Screensavers, but when i clicked on it, nothing happened!:( so i would take Scoopable's advice.:cool:

Here ya go I took Flaks SWF and converted it to a screensaver... just isntall the file and away ya go...

Also scan the file for any viruses etc, just to be on the sure side...

VisiSaver (http://www.visifly.com/VisiSaver/) sets up a video as a screensaver.
