Material editor properties not showing

I accidently closed material properties and when i checked in material editor on windows\properties window is not showing up, tryed everything but properties window is not showing up this is case in UDK from 7.2010

And in UDK from 1.2011 everything is good when i check or unchek properties windows is showing up and closing.

yeah sorry, i don't really want to try and close it to see if I can get it to come back.. don't really want to run into the same problem you are having...

Is there a little bar/line at the very bottom of the material editor window that you can drag back up to make the disappeared window bigger? I also noticed in the top left corner of the material editor window, there is the "Window" file menu thingy that has a check mark next to "Properties.Library.Materials.soandsomat", you tried clicking this back on? Also, have you tried re-installing UDK?

Also, don't click the "X" next time.

well reinstaling old version did help, but there must be a better solution for this

Deleting the UDK*.ini files in the Config folder should fix that most likely.
