So this game has no VS multiplayer?

Ive been hearing that this game doesn't have no versus multiplayer and that its just a coop based game? Is this true? i thought it would be awkward to play something like this in versus anway but im just wondering.

Currently no multiplayer has been confirmed and it seems unlikely one will be included.

How are we defining terms like 'official' and 'confirmed' here?

'Cause the game developers have talked several times (http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=746388) about Anarchy mode, which is co-op multiplayer, and how much PvP would suck.

I get that nothing is final until the gold disc gets sent to the factory (and even then their are patches and DLC), but considering how many people are saying that they won't buy an FPS that doesn't have PvP, it's not something I'd guess they're BSing about (get it.. BSing... B S... har har har).

I think in terms of competing iwth other players I read that there will be leaderboards. As mentioned above co-op as well.

I couldn't find the post right away, but the co-op mode is for MP only. At least that's what I thought. The campaign I don't think has a co-op version.

From what I remember TAO there shouldn't be any co-op campaign.

It seems the only versus we will get out of BS is going to be that Gears 3 beta..
I'm sorry but soloing a mission from campaign with leaderboards isn't versus.

I'm disappointed, but this is probably for the best when you think about it- I mean, not every game should just have versus multiplayer slapped onto it.

If PCF ever wanted to couldnt they bring VS multiplayer in through DLC? That's what they did with Resident Evil 5. It probably won't happen, but I think its possible.

Ouch. There's seriously no co-op campaign?

That's a feature that I think should be in every shooter that has you running around with a squad. Very disappointing.
