Hello,
I am looking at all this beginner documentation and it is a little overwhelming. Is there a tutorial that will just walk you through installing a simple sample game on the phone?

The video tutorials on the main docs page are all topic-specific, it looks like. Like skeletalmesh, programming, etc. The tutorial by Tom Havlik starts with this complicated setup using Visual studio (which I don't have) and moving a bunch of files around in various folders. I think that is maybe a good tutorial but it is not ideal as a 'for-dummies' starting point.

Is there some simple guide to what you need to do just to get up and running with some sample code?

Thanks
Bob

If you want to get something on your device, I just want to warn you first, its $99 a year to enroll as a developer to get access to the tools you need.

That's the developer program from Apple that allows you to test stuff on your device, but also much more than that... Everyone is basically aware of it and most people here are true iOS developers looking to get an upper hand over the competition (AppStore).

I got it working. It was so simple I guess they didn't need a tutorial. All you have to do is run the UDK Mobile Editor. It comes up with the Citadel courtyard as default. You just press the button near the top right of the toolbar (red arrow on an iphone icon) and voila! It installs on the phone. (this is after successfully importing the provisioning profile and certificate, etc).

Yeah, I am already a developer with two apps on the store, so I've already paid the $99.

But I think I might have to wait for this UDK documentation to mature a little. Right now half of the links are broken, and I can't find any simple explanation for getting started.

I'm going to look into why some of the pages seem to be missing, but this one was working just now and it should walk you through getting something on the device.
